Sorry for worrying people! I've just been enjoying some offline time and didn't realize just how long it'd been.

Things are fine! I've just been reading a lot and binging crime drama. Actually, back in August my doc diagnosed me officially with diabetes and that got a fire under my ass. With the help of a medicine called Victoza and a drastic change in my dietary habits I've lost over 30 pounds so far. I've got another 80 to go before im at my goal but I'm happy with how its going. My doc will rerun my tests soon to see if things are going good.

Dad had a pretty nasty accident a few months ago. He has a bike that can fold up for storage and he was riding one day and it suddenly collapsed on him. Took a nasty fall. We thought he tore his rotator cuff so the doc had him do an mri. Turns out, he didn't tear it. Because its gone. Apparently all the cartilage in that shoulder has basically disintegrated. He used to play tennis years ago so they think it started then and he never really addressed it. He'll likely have to have a replacement done. Thankfully its supposed to be easier than having a knee done but they're still going to have him tested to be sure he's not allergic like mom was and they do it right the first time.

Ill try to be better and check in again more often so no one thinks I'm hurt or dead again. Lol
