Pray over the bed you make. Pray over the counters you wipe. Pray over the food you cook and the clothes you put away. Pray over the car maintenance and the bills. Make everything mundane a part of your faith.

It doesn't have to be fancy, just be present in the moment with God.

Joshua 24:13-18 (AMP). “I gave you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you live in them; you eat from vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.’

“Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and in truth; remove the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the [Euphrates] River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. If it is unacceptable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

The people answered, “Far be it from us to abandon (reject) the Lord to serve other gods; for the Lord our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did these great signs (miracles) in our sight and kept us safe all along the way that we went and among all the peoples among whom we passed. The Lord drove all the peoples out from before us, even the Amorites who lived in the land. We also will serve the Lord, for He is our God.”

Revelation 3:20 (AMP). “Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.”

WHEN CALLED UPON TO SERVE...

When we are given the opportunity to serve the Lord, regardless of such capacity, we must thoroughly and completely yield our strength, abilities, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and other forms of resources we have to the Lord before we begin engaging in such assignments.

Allowing the Holy Spirit to take charge and make use of whatever ability or skill we possess before entering the assignment of the Spirit is the first call to working in obedience to the Father's purpose.

Seeing the wisdom in bringing our entire life skill, strength, knowledge, wisdom, and other forms of competence to the foot of the cross is to allow the grace of God, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit to grant us ascended wisdom over everything and anyone we may have placed our hope in achieving our assignment.

When all of our human strength and ability, especially those gained through the influence of the fruits of the tree of knowledge of good and evil soul come to an end, the life needed to carry out heaven's purpose is released.
