at the request of @shankypanky i'm gonna start a little series where i tell you the BEAUTIFUL history of MCR

so first things first how did the band start? 9/11 I'm not even joking

In short, Gerard Way was a comic artist on his way to go pitch a show to Cartoon Network about breakfast which would later get rejected due to being to similar to another show they have

when he saw the towers fell he wrote skylines and turnstiles which later turned into the album "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" (aka Bullets)

He states that this tragedy was what made him realize his passion for music so he gathered his younger brother Mikey and his friend Matt Pelissier (who will later be replaced by Bob Bryar)
