new oc!! her name is serys morgan and she’s a witch :3 she’s super cool i love her….. some ramblings under the cut
she’s a psychic and empath which are rare powers for witches to have. it’s viewed as dangerous so her family doesn’t approve. she’s the oldest of many siblings (haven’t exactly decided how many yet) and her parents are. a bit neglectful of her and don’t generally treat her well. around her family she’s very closed off and quiet but around her friends where she can be herself she’s very happy and talkative
her and cal meet in college along with another oc i still need to design properly called fiadh and they all become very close and when they’re 20/21 move in together in The Town. no i still haven’t named it. this is where cal finds out about the supernatural and that serys is a witch and fiadh a werewolf (those two knew about each other beforehand)
she has a seizure disorder, i need to do more research but probably some form of epilepsy, which can sometimes be but aren’t always linked with her visions which kinda act like absence seizures normally, and very rarely tonic-clonic. when or just before they move to The Town she gets a service dog who doubles as a familiar!!
i still need to figure out more stuff about her esp her relationships with my other ocs and such. but yeah anyways. i love her
oh and about witches cuz i haven’t talked about them here before
they’re born from other witches, different bloodlines can have more power but there can still be outliers. they can do all kinds of ‘traditional’ magic for lack of a better word, so kinda like basic telekinesis, elemental stuff, potions, etc but some really powerful ones (like serys….. smiles) can do more non traditional types (like controlling shadows or light or being psychic etc) which witches and many other supernaturals view as dangerous and dark magic. these types of magics do tend to be harder to control which is why serys can’t block out peoples emotions or stop or bring on visions. this is also why warlocks are so disliked as they always have access to all these and their specialisms tend to be more on the non traditional side. specialisms are what magic users are just naturally good at, doesn’t mean they can’t do or won’t prefer other types but yeah. i think that’s all!!
