The anti-Sessrins seem to ardently believe that Sesshomaru spent years with Rin before entrusting her to Kaede, when he actually only spent a few months with her before that.

Also, for some obscure reason, they think that Sesshomaru had time to groom Rin while she grew up in the human village, while he was very often traveling.

Yes, he visited her a few times, but I doubt he could have practiced on her a process as complex as grooming during these rare moments, which I doubt were very long given the few examples we get in anime and manga.

I also remind you that one of the ultimate keys to grooming is isolation, and Sesshomaru has always done the opposite of isolating Rin !

I don't know, he may have grooming methods that are still unknown to us ! 😂

Like, why is it so hard for people to believe that Sesshomaru simply fell in love with Rin, once she became a woman (by feudal Japanese standards), because he kept visiting this adult Rin ?

Isn't that surprising, especially for an immortal fantasy character ?

Why do people treat Sesshomaru like a normal human when, in addition to being fictional, he's magical ?

Why do they feel compelled to invent a sordid scenario to explain this relationship ?

And why, above all, do they seem incapable of accepting that Rin made the voluntary and considered choice to go with Sesshomaru ?

Some members of the fandom seem to think it's super feminist of them to constantly infantilize Rin, refusing to accept that she's grown up (even in appearance) and saying she still looks like a child when she clearly isn't.

And so at the same time say that she was manipulated in one way or another when she was little to get together with Sesshomaru once she was an adult by the latter who would have prepared her for this role.

This was a very long project much longer than the InuHaru summer vacation but I realized it has been a while since I had done a project with both brothers and their wives. I wanted to have it prepared for my absence. I’ve included their flowers with them as well. I’m happy how they turned out and I’m happy I’ve improved on drawing Sesshomaru.🥰

So, I was feeling somewhat sad about my progress in drawing, and while working on commissions, I decided to make a fanart of a character that I've loved since I was a child.

Only in 2024 did I realize that the drawing from 2021 doesn't have its cheek marks, and the one from 2022 doesn't have its moon 😭
