Set our differences aside. Understand and unite.
We need to be the change this country needs. We need to do it together and not divided. Put our differences aside and see what we do have in common and let that become what drives us and unites us. With every situation, there are different views, different cultures, different beliefs, differences in skin color, and even with all those differences, people don't understand that with whatever anyone thinks are the similarities between one person and another, NO 2 PEOPLE ARE THE SAME. I say this to those that are teaching wrong, misinforming, and miseducating our young and each other.. Yes, there may be similarities between you and someone else but you are not him or her and he/she is not you. We are a diverse country. It's who WE are. Why can't that be accepted? We can't work together if we don't allow ourselves to. Don't let anyone tell you who you need to be.
You have a heart, you have a conscious, and you know the difference between right or wrong. How do you know what's right or what's wrong? Ill make it simple....Treat other people with the concern and kindness you would like them to show towards you . It's as simple as that. You want to be treated with hate? You want to be judged? You want to be bullied? You want to be disrespected? You want to be labeled? Don't do it to anyone else. No one deserves it.
What we do need is each other's support. No one needs to know why you hate them. If someone did something to you intentionally to cause you hurt or disrespect, then separate yourself from those INDIVIDUALS. Don't blame that person's race or religion. Not even their culture. It's that individual that decided to do wrong by you. Learn from their mistakes. If you can't help make a difference, then there's no reason to make the situation worse by dumbing down to their level.
We need to accept each other for our mind, heart, and good intentions. Not for the color of our skin, heritage, culture or religion. If you can't, then figure out how to not deal with those individuals by separating yourself from them. Understand we are in a country that is full of diversity. There are a lot of differences here. We need to come together. Trust me, life will be a lot easier to live in if we do. What hurts you, may not hurt me and what hurts me, may not hurt you whether it's physically, emotionally, or mentally but their is something called respect and compassion. Include that in your way of life. Common sense should let you know what's wrong with what you're doing or how you're acting. Even your conscious.
