Speaking of malaysian job stuff idk who's already seen that sad anonymous confession by the 27-year-old woman who feels like her life is doomed because at her age, despite being a top scorer for STPM who also graduated from uni with first class honours, she's earning less than 2000 ringgit, no car, no house, no boyfriend, etc. the comments section is really peak malaysian la i swear. feels like we are just stuck in this mindset. ppl are calling for her to stop complaining and be grateful, to suck it up and try harder. not many genuinely sympathetic replies

I really hate that despite what i promised to myself in younger years i've ended up with a similar mindset also. wouldn't go taruh this poor woman like everybody else is la but towards my own targets, ya. very harsh, very judgmental. became the type of adult i would have hated growing up lol

Makes me wonder yet again. back then those adults i hated, maybe they were self-aware. wanted to tell some of us: 'i am trying but please look at the grain i am trying to go against'. because u give an inch here, ppl take a mile. generosity (emotional, financial) gets read as u being the one with no pain. and then u become the acceptable punching bag and trauma dumpster, etc etc

Endless cycle, raising generation after generation of hardhearted malaysians with anger problems
