More Than Physical Pain (Plot Shuffle) || Ben and Sebastian Ft. Seth
After finally being able to sneak in to the Monte Carlo Night they began to walk around Seth was amazed at how nice it all looked and he couldn’t help but wonder if that was really how a Monte Carlo even was in the outside world. They had thought about everything except about their parents seeing them. Seth heard Nate’s voice and he froze “Oh shit” he mumbled looking over at Elodie when her dad called her. “If I stay it will be worse for you so let me just head out” he told her giving her hand a gentle squeeze before getting lost in the crowd. He walked outside of the ballroom to wait for Elodie when a familiar blond man approached him.
Sebastian had heard about everything the government was doing to make it seem like all was well but Sebastian knew it was just a front that they were putting on. He had also heard that a few of his friends were letting their sins out he thought about doing the same but when he saw a certain teen that had been the only one to ever cause him physical pain without so much as touching him. “Where’s your blonde friend” he asked as he approached him. “I was hoping I could have some fun with her again” Sebastian knew everything about Seth he knew he was just a kid but he didn’t care things like him didn’t care about that. “Shut up or I will make you run off in pain again” Seth said smugly. Sebastian’s eyes narrowed at Seth’s comment and without giving the kid much of chance he picked him up slamming him in to a tree his hands began to make the motion as if he was chocking him and Seth began to gasp for air. “You talk a lot I prefer action over words” Sebastian said.
The end of an era // Ballie, Seth and Miles
She had just received a text from Seth saying that he was ready to talk to Miles and that they wouldmeet in his cabin. To say that she was worried about the little meeting was an understatment. How could she not be nervous she knew what Miles was capable of and she knew that him finding out the truth was something that would push him over the edge. Taking in a deep breath she walked out of her cabin and on to the dirt pathway that would take her to her son's cabin. As she neared it though she began to think that maybe she should have absorbed a power that could help them in case Miles lost it which she was sure he would then again she could easily just absorb his power if she needed to. She climbed up the steps and rested against the railing she could have gone in but she wanted to wait on Ben it would be better if they went in together at least for her it would be. Callie had also made a mental note to talk to Seth after all of this was over to try and get him to mend his friendship with Elodie, she knew they needed each other and she saw the sadness in Elodie's eyes and her son's and that killed her.
The Beginning Of The End || Miles, Seth and Bianca
After spending most of the night in the clearing, that he and his son claimed their own, training trying to get Seth back in to tip top shape it was now time to call it a day. Miles walked over to his son giving him a pat on the back. “You are getting better at the planting memories part” of course there was a reason as to why Miles wanted Seth to be able to control that aspect of his power but it wasn’t time to tell the young man just yet. “Are you that good with removing memories?” Seth’s head shot up at the question and he shook his head “I haven’t really tried that part every time I tried it I ended up really hurting the person or animal I tried it on” he shrugged.
“I see” Miles began “well I will have someone for you to practice that aspect of your power on but first we need to pay her a visit” Seth’ s brow furrowed in confusion “who are we visiting and why?” he asked. Part of him thought that it would be Callie after all his father hated the brunette but even if she had lied to Seth he didn’t want Miles to hurt her. “Bianca, she needs to pay for having shot me” Miles answered nonchalantly. Since learning of his father’s supposed death Seth had wanted nothing more than to make the person responsible for it pay but he didn’t have a name until that very moment. His hands made a fist and anger rushed through him. “How?” he asked through gritted teeth. The boy already hated the raven haired beauty and knowing that she was somehow responsible for the confusion that he was now in only added to his hatred towards her.
“Come on my boy and I will show you” Miles smirked as they walked out of the field towards the cabins, more specifically Bianca’s cabin.
Twisting Your Mind And Smashing Your Dreams
The fresh air expanded his lungs as he breathed in the fresh air. It had been months since he had set foot outside the hospital of course most of that time he had been unconscious but never the less Miles was more than thrilled to be out of that place. He had been desperate to get out of there and try to salvage even if just a little bit of everything he had lost thanks to Bianca whom of course he would make sure she paid for everything but first things first and the first thing on his mind was explaining to his son why Ben and Callie had said they were his parents.
The whole time he had been in the hospital awake all he could think about was Seth and how he had been all he had and now thanks to everything he was close to losing him if he hadn’t lost him already. The moon light lit up the otherwise dark trail to the cabins and in no time Miles was in front of the familiar one taking in a deep breath he pulled the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door turning the knob and pushing the wooden door open. His green orbs fell on Seth who sat on the sofa watching TV. The younger male turned when Miles stepped inside his jaw dropping and the remote that had been in his hand dropping to the ground with a loud thud. “you’re…” the boy said standing up still in shock. He simply stood there unable to move another muscle.
Miles walked towards the boy “dead?” he asked as he got closer. “I should be but the doctors they saved my life” he explained to his son with a weak smile. The blond got closer to Seth putting his arm around him and pulling him in to a hug but instead of Seth doing the same he pushed the blond away sending volleys of pain at him. Miles’ hands made a fist and he stood there taking the pain that his son was directing at him. The pain was getting stronger which only meant that Seth himself was growing stronger. It was getting very difficult for Miles to take the pain but he was trying his hardest to stay on his feet and not fall to the ground in pain. “Why are you using your power on me?” he asked through gritted teeth.
Seth watched as the man he had believed to be his father for so long tried to take the pain that he was sending his way. “Because you lied to me! You took me away from my real parents and used me as pawn to get back at them!” he yelled, his anger only sending more pain in Miles’ direction. “I didn’t take you from your parents I am your dad, Seth and I would never use you, I love you. Did you ever think that they are the ones using you?” with that simple question Seth stopped the pain and dropped his arms to his side. “What… what do you mean?” Seth asked taking a step back. He was clearly confused by the words that Miles had spoken and Miles would use that to his advantage. “Why do you think that after all this time they came to you when they believed I was dead? They probably knew that you would be all alone and they wanted to just feel like they could have their son since you had no one. I don’t blame them completely it must be hell to lose their son but just because they lost Isaac it doesn’t mean that they could take you especially since I’m not dead” Miles knew that what he was doing was wrong there was no question about that but he couldn’t lose Seth, he was all he had.
Could what Miles be saying be true? Did Ben and Callie really only tell Seth that he was Isaac because he was all alone? It didn’t matter if it was true or not the doubt had been deposited in him and now Seth was more confused than ever as to who he was. He blinked away the tears as he thought back on the time he had spent with Callie and Ben the times when he felt like he was part of a family like he finally had a family. “That makes sense” he muttered under his breath. “Your room is now taken by Joseph since we all thought you were dead but I guess you can crash on the sofa I uh.. I’m tired so I’m going to bed” Seth stood up and walked in to his bedroom slamming the door closed. He had no idea what to believe he just knew that there was no one he could trust now. Miles sat down on the sofa a smirk appearing on his lips feeling a sense of accomplishment for having put that doubt in to the young boys head. All he needed now was a plan to show Seth that Ben and Callie were the ones that were lying and maybe even have Seth believed that they were somehow responsible for him getting shot if he managed that he would put an end to it all.
