i totally forgot that zombies were a thing in skulduggery pleasant and i think itd be funny if seth resurrected sanguine via some next ass means because They Too forgot this

seth starts actually formally (?) studying necromancy after sanguine dies and they like immerse themself in research and magic and everyone's like "wow... seth macabre is such a dedicated sorcerer..." until melancholia finds one of their creepy ass journals one day and finds out they're trying to figure out how to actually resurrect someone successfully

i think that seth would listen to lots of different types of music but their favorite artist would for sure be gorillaz, and they definitely listened the hell out of the d-sides album, meaning, of course, sanguine would not hear the end of it.

i’m imagining them, headphones in on a long car ride, spaced out and sanguine getting frustrated
