I think I’m done with this fandom 😞 I think Seth killed my crush on him. Does it bother you that the way some of the female characters on the Orville are written is kind of sexist? Pria, Kelly, Alara... they’re all in love with Ed. Did Seth just write this show so he could live out his fantasy of having blonde women fight over him? I’m losing my crush 😞😞 I don’t want to but I am.

I don’t think the show is sexist at all.
1) Kelly is a given. She was his wife on the show and a lot of people want them to get back together (me included). I love the back and forth arguing and love between them. 😍
2) Pria, I thought was perfect to give more drama between Ed and Kelly. Relationships are bound to happen on the show and this was one of them.
3) I don’t see a relationship with Alara. Sorry I just don’t. He from what I recall does not have any flirty moments with her. Does he smile at her , yes of course. But he has close encounters with most of the characters male and female.
I think Seth likes the idea of love in his projects. The will they won’t they kind of scenes. None of the characters act or dress sleazy. He shows all their strong points and has made them all strong characters. The female characters he has created should be admired and respected. Give Seth and the show more time. If you don’t like the coupling ideas that are out there pay attention to the comedy and other characters. The story lines are amazing and should also be admired. Don’t lose your crush because of some characters on the show. He is still a good guy and funny as hell.
