Felix blinks down at the body, lying supine at the base of the stairs (though they probably would have heard it if he’d fallen far) and glances back at Sarah.

“He’s not… bloody,” Sarah says finally, unable to tear her gaze away from the Castor clone at their feet; she swallows hard to keep her gorge from rising, “But it’s not Rudy - the bastard…”

Felix, too, swallows; it would have been so much easier if they’d killed him, but now… now they have to study him.
