Special guest appearance of Seth Solo as the "British Photographer" at the Portuguese TVI series Jardins Proibidos with the lovely presence of the wonderful actors Maria Emília Correia, Diana Marquês Guerra, Rodrigo Soares, Lili, Beatriz Frazão and of course the one and only Vítor Norte.

Seth Solo was invited by the Portuguese Task Group for the Extension of the Continental Shelf / Estrutura de Missão para a Extensão da Plataforma Continental (EMEPC), a department of the Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning to create a photographic exhibition that could show the entire world what went on the M@arbis/Arrábida 2014 oceanographic campaign. He spent 15 days in the sea, aboard the NTM Creoula, a Portuguese Navy ship, with a team more or less 200 people, including biologists, sailors, scientists, divers and students that with a huge team effort, have found in this small period of time more than 60 new and previously unknown marine species from the deepnesses of the Portuguese waters. This proves, in all ways, that we have a lot more to discover about our oceans, that we have to protect them and that the sea is in fact, as it was centuries ago, the next step of Portuguese discoveries and evolution. The exhibition is called "The new age of Portuguese discoveries" because Seth thinks he should honor the bravery of Portuguese ancestors who since the first age of Portuguese discoveries in the 15th century, boldly embarqued in Portuguese Man-of-wars, galleons and Caravels into the perilous seas to explore along the West African coast and into the Atlantic Ocean to find and discover new land across the world, and also to empower the new generations of Portuguese to adventure again into the seas trying to discover new ways to bring a brighter future to us all. In this video we show you some of the images created for the exhibition. All of the pictures are pure, straight from the camera, they have no kind of editing, so you can feel how things really looked like on this journey. Seth wants to place you there, to make you look and experience things just like he did when he was sailing and living in very small quarters that strangely felt like home with this special group of really special people.
