@xastcriiax:
Business this evening hour at Knight Life was comfortable; not too empty but not too crowded to fight for a seat at the bar. Seth personally preferred this time the most, always one for a quieter atmosphere. It certainly made serving drinks a lot easier not having to redirect sound waves from the thumping music he knew would start up in about an hour or so with the late night crowd. He saw a new patron take a seat in the far corner and gave them a moment to collect themselves before he approached. He’d been working at a bar long enough to tell when someone was exhausted or stressed. “Long day?” he guessed with a small, crooked smile as he set a napkin down in front of them. “Can I get you something to drink?”
It was a rare evening off from the bar for FaBi, though she had made a quick stop in to restock for the owner before she decided to take advantage of her free evening. Didn’t matter that it was a school night, and she had class at eight the next morning. If she wanted to be out and about, Mondays and Tuesdays were her only options. And while it felt wrong to pay for alcohol when she could all but make it herself, having met Vincent left her curious about the bar he typically worked behind.
Knight Life was much more quiet than she was expecting considering his demeanor, but it was still early. And while she usually had a hard and fast rule about being among the first to show up to a party, she’d hoped to have a little conversation before Knight Life’s night life really turned up. Upon seeing the cutie behind the bar, however, she realized her hopes had been dashed. That didn’t mean she couldn’t still have a little bit of fun.
“More like last night was a very long night,” she mused, slipping onto a stool and cradling her chin in one hand. “You can. How about a Commonwealth?” FaBi requested, a half-smirk on her lips. She doubted anyone outside of hardcore foodies and other bartenders knew of its existence. Maybe she was trying to test him. Just maybe.
