luckystar fusion cuisine, setia walk.
couldn’t decide what to eat when we were at setia walk last month.. and decided upon this because most of the other restaurants are really packed. and once i walked into the place, i knew why... the whole restaurant is stinky with bbq smoke!
wanted to leave, but was really hungry... so decided to bear with it, eat fast and leave instead. ordered whisky bbq baby back pork ribs ribs and grilled chicken fried rice. their drinks selection is not interesting and super pricey, only ordered watermelon juice which isn’t really good.
the food came after a short wait, thank goodness since the smoke smell is really unbearable. the pork ribs are actually really good, soft and flavorful, portion is pretty nice with vegetables at the side. the fried rice was tasteless but the meat was okay, the cabbage garnish at the side was super dry, bad food presentation.
we ate really quickly and left immediately, will not ever come to this place again. it’s really stupid to have an air-conditioned restaurant when you open your doors so big that all the bbq smoke from the outdoor grill stink the whole place.
