Still during this testing comissions possibility phase, I just asked myself if there is any difference of time spent on front lit and back lit colorisation : not this much. Maybe even more details with front lit that I feared to be not detailed enough. This was a printer assisting test : in fact, first the line was printed, ( second draw ) and I started with flat colors. I scanned, printed this, THAN put the shadows on.   That was an attempt to see how the ink and the marker responded, and its not a fabulous method… of course there is no blending possible and many colors disappeard on the scan. That needed to be tested ! Thats 3 different levels of finish for colorisation, back when I thought of comissions.  (still thinking about it, but logistic problems) I did a bunch of attempts to see the time spent on each and estimate how much the markers are wringed out.
