2. Do they have any daily rituals?
Seulgi wakes, drinks a cup of coffee (usually black, though she'll occasionally shake it up with some sugar) and then stretches. For a ballerina, flexibility is key, utter control of her body is the utmost importance. This ritual takes a solid forty five minutes for the most part, and is often followed up with a trip to the studio for proper practice and classes and rehearsals. Beyond that she tries to avoid ritual, finding it confining.
26. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
Seulgi plans only to advance as far in the ballet world as her skills will allow her, honing a knack for choreography in the event she injures herself, or for the day when she is inevitably too old to continue on. Beyond this she is floating, tenuous and uncertain. The future is a frightening abyss she prefers not to consider.
32. Thoughts on material possessions in general?
She can get by with very little and often has in the past. She lives in a studio apartment, cherishing few things. She's not one for knick knacks or hoarding but she has a few possessions she is attached strongly too. As a child she had very little, entertained dreams of her mother winning the lottery, getting a new and wonderful job, of having toys that weren't old and broken hand me downs, of having clothes that weren't threadbare, being able to afford new point shoes or a phone or even one of the things her friends all seemed to have. But she was imaginative and she had Taemin alongside her to keep her company, so she managed quite well regardless. As nice as having things would be, she's given up on the idea that she'll ever have all that much money.
34. Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)
Seulgi is exceptionally private. She can count on one hand the number of people she will allow into her apartment, few people know much about her at all. She doesn't volunteer information - even when drunk she plays her emotional cards close to her chest, keeps herself locked up tight. She finds it equal parts endearing and absurd when people spill their secrets so easily, rattling off their own thoughts and feelings for anyone to hear, exploit, use.
39. What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
Dance. Drugs, alcohol and sex are close runners up, but for the most part when she is really down and out, miserable and worn out, she turns to dance. Her second best option is drugs and the company of her best friend slash perpetual next door neighbor. And if all that fails, she turns to holing up in her apartment with books and sleeping pills, trying to get herself back onto a proper schedule, trying to shake the insomnia that sinks its fangs into her so wickedly, so often.
