19. What was one nice thing you did for yourself?

I finally cut my hair really short after years of wanting to but no daring to do it :D

17. opinion on insecurities.

hmm that's a hard one? I mean I think everyone has insecurities, everyone shows them differently though. some people can ignore them, some show them. But the good thing is you can get over insecurities. I was insecure about my French for years, I still am sometimes- but I improved it so much and feel more confident the more I speak. Same with standing in front of a class. I guess there are some insecurities that I can never get over, but that's okay.

36. 3 dreams you want to fulfill? go back to the US to travel and/or live. have an appartment of my own (maybe soonish!). third: learn another language!

38. Is your life what you expected it would be five years ago? oh I guess a bit yes, a bit no? I was expecting to do my teacher's training and it is very stressful right now. so that part is true. I didn't expect to move back in with my parents. I also thought I would have more friends/ more activities, but the pandemic and everything kind of stopped me from doing that/ from getting to know more people.

63. How confident are you, really? hmm I guess I'm not that confident in front of peers or colleagues. I can act it, but truly I'm self-conscious about a few things. But also: I don't care what some people think about me. So in that way I am confident.

Is there anything you wish you could change about the past? In my personal life I guess some things: try to keep more in contact with my friends from school, visit them and talk to them more frequently. I realized during covid that I don’t have any close friends left from my village and when my old close friends were there they didn’t tell me to meet up. That was kind of a bummer. Yeah, also have better connections with the people I met abroad. With some I tried very hard, but they pushed me away, with others I didn’t try as hard.
