If it's okay with you, will you look into the current friendship of Seulgi and Kai? Both these people were best friends back then and all of sudden, they ignored each other's existence. At least, that's what it looked like publicly. I got curious once again and was meaning to ask after watching their past collab "Hot and Cold" in 2022 for SM Town Concert.

I think their relationship is ok overall.
There's a lot of respect for each other.
It's possible that they don't have a ✨chaotic bestie✨ relationship, but more of a mature friendship. One of them might be more of a loner or not very expressive, so they might not be glued to each other every second.
I feel they're not really too "out there", I can see them supporting each other in practical ways, like "lend me some money" or "I need a partner to practice, help me".
It's possible their relationship is currently stagnant but I wouldn't be too surprised because Kai is currently enlisted so they don't have much chances to meet or talk to each other.
