sunoo is a strong empath, so it would also make him sad and make him mirror the emotions and mood that the other person is in. the way he would comfort them is basically by vocalizing that he understands how they feel and that their feelings are okay and valid. however, he would also try to balance the conversation by giving some advice so the conversation doesn't turn out super melancholic. he would try to make them see the situation from the other side of everything and try to help them find a solution.

jungwon is someone who might struggle to fully understand what's going on if he can't relate to how they are feeling about it or how he would feel in the same situation. nonetheless, he's someone who can get moved by someone's feelings, especially if it's someone he likes, so his first instinct would be to distance himself, at least emotionally, from that feeling and try to hold it in. even though, from what i can see, he's not the type to give emotional advice or be very much of an empath like sunoo. his advice would be more rational and straight to the point. nonetheless, he will try to show some comfort and his affection towards them by making sure that they are having a good day, buying them a present, complimenting them, and basically doing things that he believes would brighten up their day.

his first instinct would be to do something immediately, but he would be very confused about what would be the most appropriate thing to do. it's possible that he might think he's not the best person to give advice, speak emotionally, or comfort someone in that way. nonetheless, it would depend on their level of intimacy, how long he's known them, who they are, and things like that. however, if he likes them, he would basically try to do things for them, even small things and gestures to take some weight off their shoulders and keep their mind more at ease.

first of all, ni ki is not someone very energetic and would be a bit lost too when it comes to how he should act, but the main thing going on in his mind would be, "oh... i guess i should do something to help." if the situation isn't that serious or deep, he would probably try to brush off the mood and even laugh a little so they mirror his attitude, make a joke or two, or just try to lighten things up. he would try to step up by telling them to go out with him and planning something fun. to be honest, i don't think he's very good at comforting someone lol.

jake would be the most romantic out of all the other members. i don't think it would be very comfortable for him if it's something consistent or that happens all the time, because it could make him tired. however, he's definitely the type to try to change the mood and put in some effort to make them feel understood and comforted in an emotional way. probably lots of hugs and sweet words would come from him. also, if they are together, he would try to make them feel better by kissing them or just being sweet and romantic and saying sweet and romantic things in general. brushing off their tears, caressing their face, and things like that.
