a little late greeter for @sevenbells! =)
“Necromancy is an... interesting choice of studies. Does your discipline relate to the nevarran Mortalitasi? And, if you don’t mind the question... how come you chose to study the dead at all? It must be so... depressing.”
"Ser, ser," a waif calls to him, no more than 7 years of age, and one that Anders recently healed a cough in. He looks up, gently putting the quill down as he tilts his head, his expression saying everything. "There's a mage in a fight with some Carta, ser!" That meant apostate - or slave. And, even if neither, the Carta was still too near to his clinic for comfort. The last thing the ill of Darktown needed was feeling that even his clinic wasn't safe. Neither was an option he much cared for, so he nodded his thanks - tossed the kid a few coppers - as he grabbed his staff. It's never hard to find a fight in Darktown; sound carries well. He follows it, finds a young woman facing four or five Carta thugs, with at least one already down. He stabs the butt of his staff against the hard brick of the ground, drawing attention before casting a quick barrier and fireball. "Looks like you could use some help." His grin is both feral and kind, if such a thing is even possible. He holds his staff somewhere between the magic weapon it is and a sword, ready to lash out with the blade at the first Carta member who got too near. @sevenbells

“So you’re a necromancer, huh? Raising the dead? That’s sort of fucked up.” As if anything in the world could be more messed up than what he did. The former General had been in Skyhold for three months by now, and while never talking to anyone, he observed - and learned of the people here. Of the qunari who trained, often with the Seeker. Of the quirly arcanist who got along very well with an odd elf girl. He knew that Cullen often played chess with a mage from Tevinter. Like Kirkwall, just quieter - he knew much about everyone, and yet no one very well. “Isn’t that pretty much just a sort of blood magic?”

Mun Questions;
😤: Worse role play-related encounter and what advice you would give to others to avoid similar situations?
I think I’d have to say that by far the worst experience was people in a group trying to control the kind of relationship my muse could have and how fast he could have it. And to avoid that, I would thoroughly check out any roleplay groups you join and try to see how strict they are about things. If they’re requiring you to ‘win’ stuff to go see characters or implementing an affection system of some sort, I would honestly just steer clear.
✌: Fondest role-play memory, between muses?
Oh man. Well, the spontaneous moment when my muse realized he had been slowly falling in love with my friend’s muse comes to mind first. Or some of Kait’s roleplays with Varric in the past. Just, when you get really close to a mun, your muses tend to connect very well. At least in my experience.
웃: An existing character you’ve played in the past that you miss?
I’m not sure I totally understand this. Existing but I don’t play them anymore? I think the ‘existing’ part is throwing me off lol
I have a few blogs I haven’t been able to log onto in awhile, if that counts. @dontpissyourdrawers and @wildflowerisms for example. They’re existing and I miss them lol I just haven’t had time to go on their blogs and do things. Does this count? lol

The smell was nauseating but what better way to assure that the dead remain dead than to burn them. Speckled with blood, Hawke stood a few feet away from the flames that ravaged the few undead he had just fought with. His staff's blade was pierced slightly into the dirt, length titled from his weight which he leant against it. Hawke felt tired. Perhaps venturing through Crestwood alone wasn't a good idea, not with the land in the state it was.
The Inquisitor had gone ahead after they had paid a visit to the Warden informant. Hawke had remained to have a few words alone and now venturing on, he had run into a nasty little nest of the undead that plagued the area.
Dry hissing off to his side caught his attention. Hawke glanced to see more of the spindly beings stiffly moving towards him. His shoulders slumped with a sigh and he turned to face them. Maybe a quick blast then he should run. His fights only seemed to be attracting more of them. The crystal of his staff began to glow faintly as Hawke readied himself to attack. He took a step forwards -
And tripped, smacking his chin on the ground. Slightly dazed, he looked back as he felt the vibrations of fingers dragging down his boots – undead, flame-crisped fingers...
“This is what I live for.”
@sevenbells
Anders raised his brow at her.”Exactly what is what you are living for?”He looked at her with interest.”Not the ale of this tavern that is sure.” he continued, glancing at the pint on her hand.
