A STRANGE SEQUEL TO THE DELTARUNE TIMELINE THING

Prior post link, I will say that there are some important details i listed, the important ones being my explanation as to why deltarune occurs in 2024 along with some other things, main important bit being how i figured out the process, there are links as well.

But one day I came across a post that brought up when Dess had vanished by using the Overdue Book as a key, & it was mentioned to be approx. 7 years (2583 days)

2017 - Dess disappears

6.2018 - (UT/DR's version of) Among Us comes out

2020~2021 - (UT/DR's version of) Jerma985 Sus Meme occurs & Susie adds it to her vocabulary without knowing the source because she is poor.

10.?.2024 - the newest girl occurs & Kris tells Susie something that scared her to the point that she cried (thus leading into story she tells Tenna)

10.31.2024 (Thursday) - Chapter 1 begins. Susie almost tears off Kris' face but stops thanks to Toriel's Kindness.

11.01.2024 (Friday) - Chapter 2 & Chapter 3 occur

11.02.2024 (Saturday) - Chapter 4 begins & Church occurs on a Saturday rather than a Sunday.

However, one thing that bugged me regarding the found amount of time was that it was only approximate rather than "here is the definitive number", so i decided to do some calculating (thanks random websites with weirdly niche uses) & finally got the amount of time which passed, seven years & four weeks.

So then I subtracted October 31st 2024 (start of deltarune in universe) by Seven Years & 4 weeks, which got me October 3rd 2017 as the solution

So the new timeline is:

10.31.2016 - Halloween with Bro

(8 years ago, as stated by Toriel's Wallpaper, its also never stated as "about" or whatever, it is strictly "eight years ago".)

10.3.2017 - Dess disappears, thus causing the families to fall apart, the book is never returned.

(Book Due on October 3rd 2017, book was likely obtained before that BUT it was used for a brief time, with Dess & Azzy mainly using it of course.)

06.15.2018 - deltarune/undertale's version of Among Us comes out

(i say "DR/UT's version of" since things like "Smashing Fighters" exists, which is an obvious parody of, well, y'know, i hope.)

2020~2021 - deltarune/undertale's version of Jerma985 sus meme circulates & Susie at some point hears it, but likely does not understand the actual origin of the game (I mean, AVGN exists in deltarune as well too, so like, its not entirely impossible).

(As I've stated in the prior post, i know sus as a word existed prior to among us & jerma, but the game is VERY much intentionally referencing Among Us)

?.?.2024 - Azzy goes to college prior within 2024 but prior to October. Kris searches things up, Toriel likely tells Kris about the news of Azzy coming back, & likely went "....$!$? !!! CAROL IS GONNA BE SUPER PISSED!" or something along those lines before just gritting their teeth & responding to their mom "cool, i am so happy about this information."

( I have given Azzy's departure in the prior post a more definitive date, but it's speculative at best, my reason as to why I think Asriel ONLY goes to college the same year the game begins has to do with how Toriel states he is "visiting" aka, not staying for long, that and it'd explain why Kris looked up "college summer vacation" in their search history, likely to schedule their plans, only to realize that College is NOTHING like High School, bravo, Kris, bravo.)

10.?.2024 - the newest girl occurs & Susie runs away after Kris said something to her, leading her to meet with Toriel.

(OKAY, so this one is mighty interesting, so when I was doing some unrelated things, I wanted to figure out when it was that Gerson might of died + when Susie moved into town, in doing so, i looked at her peptalk scene and couldn't help but notice with how the game shows the classroom first THEN shows the graveyard second, which when i put two & two together with "the newest girl", i had realized that Susie meeting up with Toriel was a sequel to "the newest girl", which means Kris said some really twisted shit to her & scared her off to the point that she began crying)

10.31.2024 [[THURSDAY]] - Chapter 1 begins & Toriel is responsible for Kris still having their face.

("Nah. Kris. You've got a good mother … it'd be a shame to make her bury her child." Also, why i chose this in particular has to do with Toriel's wallpaper & her likely changing it to reflect what holiday it is or what is being celebrated, although as to why they are not celebrating it now? Well, i mean, Kris goes to sleep early, so chances are they just wanted to go to bed early so they could enact the plans.)

11.01.2024 [[FRIDAY]] - Chapter 2 & Chapter 3 occur

(Here's alphys saying it, also chapter 4 is on a Saturday, also another reason i chose this date was due to the fact that the holiday decorations are being set up, which means in both deltarune & undertale's history, there is no Thanksgiving, Christmas exists though.)

11.02.2024 [[SATURDAY]] - Chapter 4 begins & church service occurs on Saturdays like the Sabbath.

11.03.2024 [[SUNDAY]] - Chapter 5, the Festival begins, it is now next week & chances are Undyne is going to die VERY soon.

(the only question is what the phone call meant by "next week", if they meant "next week TOMORROW" or "sometime next week",,, Honestly kinda shows whomever it was that scheduled it is kinda bad at planning stuff, that or it was unexpected, hence why things are speeding up, because Azzy coming back may get in the way of things, especially for Kris.)

HOWEVER, there was something funny about the date that I couldnt help but notice when i was looking at it, it's exactly Seven Years Four Weeks, then as if flint & steel igniting on the first click, my brain pieced it together.

Its been roughly seven years & four weeks since they disappeared, this could very well have been their song too.

There was something else however, something before this realization that I noticed, the ROOTS Room is called "sadpiano2" (or sadchord2), a song played in db7 chord & is played every 7 seconds.

* Someone is sitting alone at the piano, hitting a single key, waiting for someone to join in.

* ...

* But nobody came.

I think the more interesting part is that there is no sadpiano1, sadpiano1 is missing.

4 is missing.

The piano bench is big enough for two people to sit on.

Dess was described as a musical prodigy.

She knew more than just guitar. She knew how to play the piano. She taught Kris to play the piano.

UPDATE 1, from a friend of mine who added to this further after i showed them what i had:

I think in the same post i made in the past, i also mentioned something about the hypothetical ages for the "main cast" or something, so if I had to guess now, its likely that:

Kris is 16 years old in the present day.

Was 8 years old during Halloween 2016.

Was probably 9 in October 3rd 2017, regardless, they witnessed Dess poof.

Azzy is 18 years old in the present day.

Was 10 years old during Halloween 2016.

Was probably 11 years old when Dess disappeared, them vanishing likely caused them to never return the book.

Noelle is 15~16 years old in present day.

Was 7~8 years old in Halloween 2016.

Was 8~9 years old on October 3rd 2017.

Dess is unknown, but likely a year older than Azzy considering how Noelle spoke about her. Which would likely put her at 18~19

She was 10~11 years for Halloween 2016.

She was 11~12 years old when she vanished on October 3rd 2017.

I think something important to note as to how ive come to the conclusion to this being the ages of the characters, well its quite simple, Noelle told Kris & Us already, the four of them were children, which should be within 4~12 range or so. Which would mean that Azzy & Dess were the oldest but still kids.

A part of me knows full well that people will attempt to disprove this in some manner shape or form, but with how deltarune is set, with how unusually specific some things are at times to be too much of a coincidence.

I personally just think Toby thought ahead for a lot of this, I mean, he's already written the dream down, all that matters now is putting the pieces together in a cohesive manner.
