seeing the other was certainly a surprise, though a very welcomed one. forgive the knight for being quite sentimental when it came to those who he was connected to. he could remember clearly when the others fate was revealed to him; such a young, tender age. his chest tightened at the thought of it all - despite him being here now. ‘ i wasn’t expecting to see you ; i do hope you’ve been well. ‘

The summer solstice was a time of festivities and cheer, widely celebrated across the land of Hyrule - particularly in Castle Town. Vendors set up booths throughout the town square while music was played well past the setting of the sun. Pies, puddings, cookies, and other pastries lined the windows and tables of the local shops, all with various summer flavors including (but not limited to) lemon, lavender, and strawberry.
The celebration typically lasted for three days. Conveniently, Zelda’s birthday happened to fall the day after the solstice.
“Link, there is going to be music and other festivities tonight at the solstice celebration. Would you perhaps be interested in accompanying me? I would LOVE to get one of those blueberry lemon pies! They look delicious!”

Lake Hylia was one of Elodie’s favorite places. There was always so much to explore, and one of these days, she was hoping she’d be able to get into the Water Temple and get some pictographs for the archives. She knew, of course, that it was dangerous, and she’d never really been good at holding her breath as long as it’d take to get the gate open. So it was mostly a dream.
For now, she could be found hopping across the bridges to the island above the temple and taking out her Pictograph Box, snapping a picture of the monument that stood there. She was mostly sure there wasn’t a pictograph of it for the archive, and monuments were known to end up smashed or completely disappeared in Hyrule when things went south.
