I know theres probably plenty of people at risk of having panic attacks who follow you, so I want to share a trick I use when im having panic attacks so my brain isnt blasting me with “YOU’RE DYING” messages the entire time
I start at the first letter of the alphabet and try to name foods (you can list shows or movies if you want), so like. “A..apple, apricots..” once you cant think of anything else you move on to the next letter. I try to do this until i have calmed down. You can combine it with other methods :]
When I was little, I used to have a bad time falling asleep. So to calm my brain and sleep, I would think about how to phonetically spell every letter of the English alphabet. Maybe that'll also help you with panic attacks, too.
