6 months post #injury today. Still have no feeling in my index #finger on he right side, from the knuckle to the tip, but that is expected. Most likely will not recover back to 100% feelings if it does at all. Feels like an #alien finger on my body. Thumb pad has #nerve #damage too, but it is small in comparison. My surgical scar is hypersensitive, where I do have feeling. I still can't lock fingers with anyone including myself. Not even Aidan's little fingers. The pressure sends really weird and uncomfortable sensation that makes it feel like I have feeling in my whole finger, from the inside, but I can't feel anything if I feel along the side of the finger, if that makes any sense. Feels like my wiring has been pulled lol. It's a weird adjustment but it's been 6 months. And playing my guitar or doing small things with these two fingers is a pain in the ass. Don't ask me to pick up coins. Or open round door knobs.
