let me introduce Severin Quest properly. Omen, in all their shapeshifty shapetwisty glory, can look very human when they want to, but will always be divine (and in all honesty, they don't even put that much effort into looking human, they have a knack for blending in with the crowd). however, as their divinity is tied to the city of iphimery, they cannot leave it. so they had the bright idea of setting all of their godliness aside, just to see who they would be and what they could do - and that's how severin happened. Severin is not omen. he really has no powers, or magic, or even glowy eyes. she can, however, leave the city. she can travel! they can learn folk songs in faraway towns, or visit their libraries, or hang out with foreign deities. he can, uh, hide from people who hunt gods. they just gotta make sure that amulet does not fall into someone else's possession. that would be.. kind of bad, wouldn't you say?

2) what sort of music would they like? have you thought about what genres or bands do they lean towards? do they have a favorite song?

severin is 100% the type who likes all kinds of music!! he loves to sample some local music everywhere she goes, learn about different instruments and how folk songs differ from town to town. they will find something to love about every genre. people might think him insincere or even mocking for how much she vibes with everything, but they really are just that passionate about the arts.

6) how do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks?

they wear a big hat most of the time, so he lives with perpetual hat hair. she doesn't care too much.

7) favorite animal? why?

i can't answer this one because i haven't worldbuilt the fauna of iphimery world enough... i feel like they like horses or whatever horse equivalent there is though. fellow travellers :)

8) favorite food? least favorite? are they a picky eater? do they have any dietary restrictions?

just like with music, she's STOKED to taste all kinds of different foods! people are a little horrified at the ease with which he will scarf down very spicy or smelly foods sometimes. BUT they do in fact have some restrictions: they can't eat [an iphimerian food that is most commonly left as sacrifice on omen's altars] (WORLDBUILDING PROBLEM FOR A DIFFERENT DAY BUT YOU GET THE CONCEPT)

22) do they sleep well at night?

yes! he is a very comfortable sleeper and can spend the night anywhere, from a hayloft to a moving cart to a luxurious bed at a fancy inn or even a castle. she IS however. very quick to wake to danger if they feel it approaching, so do not mistake their honk shoos for that of a heavy sleeper.

34) how would your character describe themselves? it doesn't have to line up with how they really are.
