No, it is not the usual belt back or fanny pack. This “apron” I made for one of my regular customers. She asked me a few weeks ago to make an apron for her. When I read “apron”, I was thinking she wanted me to make a cooking or a working apron. The pictures of her fabric “apron”, made it clear what she asked me to make for her: a hip bag she wants to use as a sewing bag. Open at the top, two pockets at the front, and a triangle sleeve for scissors at the back side. Custom orders are fun to do. Sometimes it is a long search to discover what the customer wants.
