The growing fear of the COVID19 is causing the increasing privilege to stay at home for those people who are working. And since Im a stay at home wife for now, Im happy to have lots of things to get myself preoocupied. So i am not hazed by the thought of staying at home all day. 😯 ... I didnt choose sewing as hobby at first. I saw it as a chance to create my own fashion when fashion was unreachable for me. But I got hooked. To be able to create something out of a piece of fabric is so satisfying. And who wouldnt feel relaxed by the buzzing sound of the sewing machine? (Or is it just me? 🤣) ... Jersey or stetch knits are one of the trickiest fabrics to work with. However, its the first kind of fabrics I started working with because of how nicely it drapes on the body. Its a love and hate relationship for me since Ive gone through so many broken needles and crumples and puckered stitches working with it. Even then, I still love it because of how its so versatile for everybody type. ... We all learn from our mistakes. And if you could count how many mistakes Ive had making this knotted dress, Ill treat you to something...🤣😀😀👍Im always up for a sewing challenge and this one hit the note really well, from cutting it to assembling it, I had to stop myself from cursing because its confusing as ever. 😯🤣😀 .... I had to make it work so I wont waste pretty fabric. For home sewers out there..Would you take the plunge working with challenging fabrics like this?🙏😀 * Also shoutout to my awesome hubby @symba_5.12 for taking this wonderful pics. So blessed to have him being so patient with me for all of my quirks. 😀❤ . . . . #sewingcommunity #sewingfun #sewingforme #slowfashion #sewingjersey #sewingpatternsandprints #sewingmystashoff #sewmystyle #sewingmystyle #sewingchallenge #fashionphotography #fashiondiaries #sewinghobby #fabricmartmake #fabricmartfabrics (at Lake Barcroft, Virginia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9mAQ2ihYud/?igshid=1rbfapn605owg
