BOOYAH!!!! I fixed it. You see that black thingamajig? It was stuck and wouldn’t move. That’s why I could only do a straight stitch when the needle was left of center and why the selector wheel wouldn’t turn all the way. I had zero help from the interwebs. I couldn’t find a single post or video about how to fix my machine. I couldn’t even find anything on how to open up this machine. So, I just kept searching for screws until I could remove the case (they really hid some of them!), looked at the innards, and figured out the problem. I do not have any kind of mechanical background, so I’m super impressed with myself right now.
