A couple of weeks ago, I made some face mask to protect myself (a bit) and others (mainly) when I go out to buy groceries. Unfortunately, my glasses tended to fog up, which is not so great when you're in the middle of the supermarket. So I google a bit and I ended up using the construction  method of @sandras.handgemachtes.allerlei - changing it only by adding channels for the elastic instead of sewing it on. For fabric I used old bed linen, the elastic was probably bought more than 30 years ago and the florist wire comes from an old christmas wreath. The sewing is a bit rough and ready, but I'm still a newbie, so that's OK. . I am really happy with the fit, and it seems to work, i.e. my glasses don't fog up when I wear it. A #miniquilt finish 🎉 From @nohatsquilts book "adventure in paper piecing and design" the single page foundation piecing double diamond wedding ring 💍. I made the bling into an amethyst, as it is my birthstone (and it was a bit of birthday sewing😁) I'm so pleased how it turned out! I made it a lot bigger than the one in the book (I wanted a fun sew, not an endurance test!) the scissors are there for scale! The one in the book is tiny, so I enlarged mine by 150%. Altogether lots of fun to sew, and an intriguing way to piece blocks 🤔. Re-reading the book at bed time in preparation for trying to design my own pattern.
