Made with my little hands ! I’m pretty happy with em, the cannabis one is my own stash and the alien one will soon belong to a close friend of mine. Hope she’ll enjoy it as much as I did making it for her ! 

I’m a huge stoner and damn, sewing keeps me so chill, I don’t even need to green myself every 5 minutes during the boringness. Personal projects are always the most fulfilling, if that’s how we say this. I have trouble ending many things but not this ! So happy when you’re done and a little proud, no lies, specially when you thought you never could have ended with a nice result.

I realised that I never shared the final result of last week's #SewingSunday project! . Are used to love playing the piano back when I was still living with my parents, and holiday went past when I was in tinkering away on it somehow. I wasn’t particularly good (and still definitely I’m not) but I really enjoyed it. I really missed it when I moved out, and eventually two years ago we finally had a flat that was big enough for this amazing little e-piano. Unfortunately since the little one has come along I have stopped playing as much, which means that the keys have started to collect enough dust to make it noticeable! So I decided to make a little dust cover for it! . The base is made from an old linen tablecloth and the pattern is sourced from an old curtain. At least now there's an automatic buffer there when I sew on the replacement. . Perhaps some kind of metaphor can be taken from this? Time for a #SewingSunday post, even though technically the sewing happened over a year ago... . Last night was such a gorgeous sunny evening that we decided to test out our new bike trailer / buggy for the little one and wander into the village for an ice cream. With the weather getting warmer, I've put away most of my winter jackets and am starting to extract my spring clothes from storage. While rummaging in the basement wardrobe I rediscovered the leather jacket that I made from my trusty stash of recycled red sofa leather. I couldn't wear it last year because I was pregnant, but it fits again and it's perfect for these temperatures! Plus it fits beautifully with my @katziwaesche skirt and @hazelmade_clothing jumper and @dutchjesss hat! . I'm in baking mode this morning for a fundraising cake sale this afternoon. The frame of this panel starts out with sewed on the sides because of how this one is cut. The challenge comes from figuring out how to incorporate it into the rest of the quilt. As strange as it seems, despite my stressful situation, making this quilt and thinking of the future recipient of it is cathartic.
