You guys!! Small details can make such a big difference! I'm not sure why I haven't tried this before, but better late than never, right?!! Look how pretty the waistband edge (first pic) and the hem around the leg openings (second pic) look using a simple decorative stitch, (on your sewing machine settings) instead of a regular straight stitch.
