New: Open Play for Performing Artists starting this Tuesday 10am-1pm. This is an open play specifically for performers who are working on something for the stage. There might be very light facilitation and opportunities for collaboration or feedback. For the most part it is people working parallel to each other on their own projects. There is a potential pathway for things to start during open play time and end up on stage at a Playground After Dark or Anniversary show as a chance for people to put what they are working on in front of an audience. This is an opportunity to infuse the sometimes lonely, daunting task of making stuff with community, camaraderie, creativity and collaboration. We think this would be a great space to foster a creative, working community.
