Just a quick doodle of NuttyBuddy-- He looks so bored!
In an underworld full of such dull things, tricks he's seen millions of times, and the chaos isn't as good as it used to be; Getting stale and old... We find Nutty bored out of his mind.
Poor thing... Nothing interests him down below anymore.
Ok, so a little follow up to Doc being a show off to prove himself the better option as a partner.
If the object of his affections asks him to tone down, he both will and won’t. There’s a good chance his first reaction is to tell you you’re being dumb and to hush and accept it. That people provide for the people they care about with expecting anything in return. Or he does anyway. If that doesn’t work, he suggests then, that you find a way to repay him. Quid pro quo. Only not really. He’ll offer you menial tasks that don’t actually do much but give you the illusion of being more helpful. “Repaying” him with acts of service. Or he’ll find justifications for things. Oh you don’t want to just eat the dinner he fixed? Well he needs you too. See it’s a test run for someone else and he needs you to make sure it’s actually any good. Human tastes are weird after all. Another option is he’ll cut back on the more obvious stuff, and shift to more subtle displays. Seemingly no more random elaborate gifts, but suddenly all the things you need for work are of a higher quality. Some of your prep work is done already because he “had the time and got bored”. Meals aren’t “I fixed this for you” but “I made too much and it’d go to waste”.
When his future s/o (it was never a question to him) starts to develop feelings, he won’t directly acknowledge it. He doesn’t want to scare you off. By maintaining the status quo he doesn’t risk throwing the trajectory off. When you start seriously considering leaving your current partner, again, he won’t change much if at all, and he won’t speak badly about them. At least no more than usual. He tends to avoid that, as it’s not an attractive way to behave, but if there is something he blatantly disagrees with about them (outside of dating you obviously, but a behavior or trait) then he’s pretty up front about it. He knows suddenly coming on stronger can ruin all his progress. What he’s doing is working, so he should just keep doing it. And he does. He knows it’ll work out.
Hope that covered things for ya, sorry it took me a bit.

Grape doesn't realize he's mumbling to himself a mix of what's he's currently studying and the music blasting in his headphones. He's thankfully not loud enough to be a bother to the people around him. For one, because he's really only whispering the melody, with mathematical formulas as altered lyrics. And for two, because there's no one in the university library at this hour of the day anyway. Everyone else is busy being outside where the sun shines and the football team is training. Okay, sure, they're nice to look at, but Grape prefers to spend his afternoon here in the library, studying by himself.

He's in fact so focused on his work that he doesn't notice the tall skeleton standing behind him and looking over his shoulder. It takes Money a little poke at Grape's shoulders to get the small skeleton's attention. Grape startles as he fumbles to remove his headphones.
"Money! I didn't notice you, when did you get here?"
"just now, don't worry your little pretty face," Money grins nonchalantly as he takes a seat next to Grape. He links their arms together. "so, whachu doing here all by yourself, my baby? i've been texting you all afternoon, i want to go on a date."
Grape can't help the embarrassed blush creeping up his cheeks. He's not sure he's comfortable with the use of pet names between them, it really hasn't been that long since they've been together. If they're legit together at all.
It's not that Grape doesn't like Money, no. The tall skeleton has surprisingly proven to be quite nice to hang out with actually, and has made sure to act like the perfect boyfriend to Grape for the last three weeks. But Grape can't shake off the thought that maybe this is all fake after all, and the moment he'll reciprocate Money's attention or initiate anything romantic between them, someone is going to pop out of behind a wall with a camera and a stupid, mean grin that'll say, 'hey, this is all fake, you've been pranked, no way a popular skeleton like Money would want to go out with you, you dumbass!' and then millions of pictures will be hung up all around the university where people will get to see how Grape embarrassed himself by thinking this was true.
Maybe Grape is overthinking things a little.
Still, the fact remains that people like Money don't usually ask people like Grape out. The handsome, popular jock doesn't pick the little nerd when he's surrounded by cheerleaders, that only happens in bad rom-coms. Honestly, the only reason Grape accepted at all was because he truly thought that Money was messing with him at that party, and Grape wanted to play him at his own game. So when Money came up to him with a drink in his hand and straight up asked Grape to be his boyfriend, the small skeleton simply replied, 'sure', and then walked away like he didn't care.
What he didn't expect was to see Money come up to him the next day and sit next to him in class. In fact, Grape was so taken aback by the turn of events that he didn't flinch when Money asked his number and just gave it to him. In hindsight, he should've been more careful with his number because it would've been so easy for Money to spread that info around or post it on unsavory sites. But the only messages Grape started to receive after that were indeed from Money, who would text him good morning and good night, or about movies and games, or even to talk about what they learned during class.
They've been texting each other quite a lot for the past three weeks, so Grape is tempted to think that maybe Money did ask him out for real.
He's not sure about his own feelings for the tall skeleton though. Sure, Money is proving to be a nice skeleton to hang out with, but Grape is relatively sure that he isn't in love with Money. He doesn't know if the other loves him, and quite honestly he'd rather Money didn't. Regardless of whether Money was honest with his confession, three weeks is way too soon for the L-word.
That being said, things are nice so far and Grape hasn't felt the need yet to bail and ask Money to keep away from him. He's taking the new relationship, if he can call it that, one day at a time and it seems to be working for both of them. Money is just a little too demanding in his opinion, but he can tell that it's in good fun most of the time, like when he calls Grape 'baby' or asks for a kiss that Grape isn't ready to give anyway. Money doesn't seem to mind being told 'no', he even gets excited when Grape says 'not yet' instead. As a sort of reward for respecting Grape's pace, the small skeleton has taken to find roundabout ways to answer Money's demands, like blowing him a kiss when Money asks for one, or making dumb, baby blabbering sounds when Money uses such a nickname. It makes Money laugh.
He doesn't dare make his best baby impression in the middle of the library however, and simply puts his headphones away before trying to get back to his homework. Money is allowed to keep him company when he's studying, but he knows not to bother him.
Money is the opposite of helpful right now though, what with the way he's snuggling Grape's arm like that, his pointy cheek pressed into Grape's shoulder. It makes writing in his textbooks impossible so Grape tries to shake his arm and push the other away a little.
"Money, don't hold onto my arm like that," he complains. "I can't write if I can't move my arm."
Money shrugs. "just use your other hand to write. you're ambidextrous."
"No, I'm not."
"says who?"
Grape snorts. Money has this way of saying the dumbest shit all the time. It's not even funny, but it makes him laugh regardless.
"Seriously though, the faster I get this homework done, the faster we can go on that date," he ends up saying, which feels like he just lost the negociations with the enemy. He doesn't mind.
Money suddenly looks up at Grape and flashes him a happy smile. He sits up before planting himself behind Grape and hooks his hands under Grape's armpits. The small skeleton doesn't have the time to wonder what the fuck he's doing, as Money lifts him up and places him back down on the chair that Money was sitting in just a moment before. Grape, puzzled, stares at his boyfriend, who sits back down, this time putting his skull down on the desk. He looks up at Grape and blinks a few times like a happy cat who's just done knocking all the houseplants from their shelves.
"Was this necessary?" Grape asks with an unamused look.
It's Money's turn to laugh.
"do you mind if i watch you study?" He asks and Grape feels the blush come back.
It's a little embarrassing to be honest, but he finds that he doesn't hate the soft look in Money's eyelights, so he shrugs as his answer.
He focuses back on his work for a while and soon Money shifts into a blurry purple spot in the background. When Grape finally reaches his study goal for today, he looks to the side and notices Money's eyesockets are shut. A quick glance to the time and he realizes they've been here for just a little under an hour. Grape is honestly impressed that Money just stayed there with his skull on the desk instead of leaving Grape here to go out and have fun with his other, more popular friends.
Is Grape crazy for being moved by this? It's not like Money did anything, really. He literally just fell asleep on the desk.
Grape doesn't know what he's thinking when he lifts his hand and lets his palm make contact with Money's cheek. Maybe the tall skeleton wasn't asleep after all, as his eyesockets shoot open, though he doesn't say nor do anything, and simply stares intensely at Grape while the smaller skeleton's fingers trace an idle pattern under Money's right eyesocket, the one that's half-dead.
Grape delicately rubs his thumb there twice before removing his hand. That's all for today.
He then quickly puts his notebooks and pencils in his bag before standing up, nodding for Money to follow him.
"Okay, I'm done. Let's go on that date now."
Money happily lets Grape lead him out of the library, and he doesn't tease his small boyfriend when Grape intertwines their fingers together like a real couple.

Grape's first clue that something was wrong with Blue was when he started getting angry at nothing in particular in the group chat they shared with their third lover, Wine.
Grape was just asking what Wine had planned to make for dinner that evening, and one thing lead to another and Blue felt accused of not buying the necessary ingredients. Despite Wine reassuring him that things were fine and he could make something else, or they could eat out or even order something, Blue didn't let it go.
It was uncharacteristic of the usually happy skeleton, but Grape and Wine knew that Blue was stressed at work lately, so they assumed he was just dealing with some random anxiety. It still didn't excuse his sudden outburst and he'd have some apologizing to do later, but at least Grape knew not to take it to heart. Wine was a more forgiving monster than him, so he wasn't worried about him taking it the wrong way either.
Still, to make it easier for Blue, Grape decided to go the extra mile and he bought a box of fancy chocolates, Blue's favorites. And while he was at it and because he never wanted his other lover to feel less appreciated than Blue, he bought a bouquet of roses for Wine.
Blue was already there when he came home, sitting on the couch as he played on his phone while Wine was in the kitchen. The tallest skeleton of their poly peeked into the living room and nodded at Grape that this was the right time to have a chat with Blue. They both sat on each side of Blue on the couch, and Grape handed him the box of chocolates.
"let's talk, okay?" He asked softly, rubbing Blue's arm. "is everything fine? this outburst was so unlike you, wine and i got really worried about you."
Blue sighed exasperatedly, like they had had this conversation a billion times already and he didn't want to hear any of it again. He sent an angry glare at Grape but then seemed to deflate as his shoulders sagged.
"I'M SORRY…" He mumbled as he avoided either of his lovers' gaze. "THANKS FOR THE CHOCOLATES."
It wasn't the best apology in the world, but Grape and Wine accepted it and hugged the smallest skeleton tightly.
"We love you, Blue," Wine said.
"we love you so much," Grape added.
Blue stayed silent before timidly hugging them back.
"I LOVE YOU GUYS TOO," he said, his voice unusually flat.
The rest of the evening went by a little more smoothly, though things were still undeniably tense in the house. Blue at least let his two lovers cuddle around him at night, while his eyesockets were staring at the ceiling. Grape had to assume his boyfriend was suffering from a fit of insomnia. That would help explain his grumpiness.
Grape only realized on the next day that the situation was way worse than he could ever imagine. After a restless night and a busy morning at work, Blue sent an ominous text to the group chat that read:
I WANT TO TALK TO YOU TWO ABOUT SOMETHING SERIOUS.
Despite Grape and Wine's many following texts, asking Blue if everything was okay, if he was still upset about the previous evening after all, Blue stayed silent all afternoon.
Grape came home before Wine and hurried to the living room, where Blue was waiting for him, curled up in the armchair.
"blue, what's wrong? what is it you want to talk to us about?"
Blue sighed again, the same exasperated sigh from last night, and batted Grape's hand away.
"I SAID I WANTED TO TALK TO YOU BOTH, WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME TALK BEFORE WINE'S HERE?" He asked agitatedly.
"i just want to make sure that everything's okay," Grape defended himself, though he was starting to get heated himself.
"STOP ASKING OVER AND OVER IF THINGS ARE OKAY! IT'S ANNOYING!" Blue growled angrily. He added as he got his phone back, "YOU KNOW WHAT, JUST LEAVE ME ALONE UNTIL WINE GETS BACK. YOU'RE GETTING ON MY NERVES AND I DON'T WANT TO SAY STUFF I MIGHT REGRET."
Grape found himself speechless, and while he didn't really want to follow Blue's directives when he was being such a jerk, and for no apparent reason, he had to step away from the ball of anger that was his boyfriend for his own sake. He made his way upstairs and took a shower while waiting for Wine to come back. The tallest skeleton had always been the most level-headed of the trio, so surely he'd be able to calm Blue down and get to the bottom of this. Whatever 'this' was.
A little over half an hour later, Grape heard the front door open. He made his way back to the living room and greeted Wine. Blue then made them both sit on the couch while he took a piece of paper from his pocket.
Blue took a big breath before he started reading.
"GRAPE, WINE, I'M NOT HAPPY. I CARE FOR YOU BOTH, BUT I FEEL TRAPPED IN THIS RELATIONSHIP WE HAVE, WHERE I HAVE TO DIVIDE MY FEELINGS EQUALLY TO THE BOTH OF YOU, AND DO SO 24/7 WITHOUT ANY RESPITE. I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE. I CAN'T BREATHE, I FEEL TRAPPED, I DON'T FEEL LIKE MYSELF AND I NEED OUT." At this point he started to get teary and had to pause, but too astonished by what he was saying, neither lovers made a move to interrupt him. "I WANT TO STOP BEING IN THIS POLY RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU TWO. I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT IT FOR A MONTH ALREADY AND MY FEELINGS HAVEN'T CHANGED SINCE THEN NO MATTER HOW HARD I'VE TRIED TO LOOK PAST MY UNHAPPINESS, SO PLEASE DON'T TRY TO MAKE ME CHANGE MY MIND. I ONLY HAVE ENOUGH SPACE FOR ONE MONSTER IN MY SOUL, AND I CAN'T KEEP YOU BOTH. IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR."
By that point, Blue was actively bawling his eyesockets out, his shaky hands crumpling the paper.
After the longest minute of silence in the world, broken only by Blue's wet whimpering, Grape asked, still not sure he believed what Blue had just said, "are you… breaking up with us?"
Blue couldn't reply right away as Grape's words made him cry harder and his voice cracked when he tried to speak. His movements stiff like a robot, Wine handed him a tissue, which Blue accepted gratefully before blowing his nose. It took him a couple more minutes to compose himself enough to reply.
"I DON'T… WANT TO BREAK UP WITH BOTH OF YOU. JUST… UHM… JUST ONE."
Grape leaped to his feet.
What the fuck.
Was this asshole serious?
"you wanna break up with one of us but keep the other around?" He started yelling while he paced angrily in front of the couch. "what the fuck is wrong with you blue!! seriously, what the fuck? are you listening to yourself?"
"IT'S JUST-! GRAPE, PLEASE, LISTEN TO ME," Blue pleaded, his tears coming back. "I CAN'T DO THE POLY THING ANYMORE, IT'S JUST TOO MUCH FOR ME. I HAVE TO BREAK MYSELF IN HALF FOR YOU TWO, AND I CAN'T DO THAT ANYMORE. WE NEVER GO ON DATES WITHOUT ALL THREE OF US THERE, AND IT'S SO HARD TO FIND STUFF WE ALL ENJOY AND I HAVE TO SACRIFICE SO MANY OF THE ACTIVITIES I LOVE BECAUSE I CAN'T BRING YOU BOTH! AND- AND I HAVE TO BUY TWICE OF EVERYTHING, BECAUSE HOW DARE I ONLY BUY A FUCKING SCARF FOR WINE BUT NOTHING FOR YOU, AND OF COURSE I DON'T WANT TO MAKE EITHER OF YOU JEALOUS OF THE OTHER, BUT SOMETIMES I JUST NEED TO CONFIDE IN ONE OF YOU WITHOUT THE OTHER ALSO KNOWING EVERYTHING. IT'S TOO MUCH!!"
"that's just honesty, you'll find that in any healthy relationship!!" Grape screamed back at Blue. "don't fucking make excuses! i'm buying presents for both you and wine all the time and you don't hear me complain about it!! and if you weren't happy with the chocolates yesterday and you wanted something else, you could've just fucking said so!!"
"BUT THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE! I DON'T WANT TO MAKE YOU THINK I'M NOT APPRECIATING YOUR GIFTS, BUT IT'S NICE TO BE MADE FEEL SPECIAL AND NOT HAVE A ROMANTIC GESTURE BE SHARED BETWEEN YOU AND SOMEONE ELSE."
"so you don't want me to buy wine gifts?!!"
"THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID!!!" Blue's voice cracked on the last word, tears streaming down his face. "IT'S LIKE WE'RE TRYING TO MIX PAINT AND WE HAVE THREE COLORS THAT ALL LOOK SO PRETTY, BUT THEN WE START MIXING AND WE END UP WITH A DISGUSTING, MURKY BROWN WITH NO TRACE OF THE ORIGINAL COLORS AND I JUST WANT TO GET MY OWN COLOR BACK!!"
"Alright, enough, stop," Wine interrupted the shouting match.
On one side, Blue was henched over himself, his face buried in his hands as he was breaking down, howling tearfully, his back jerking with the force of his sobs. On the other side, Grape was flushed a dark purple with anger, his fists clentching nervously as his stance screamed that he was ready to punch his frustration away. In the middle, Wine was holding his arms out as a temporary truce.
Wine let a couple minutes go by so that the two smaller skeletons could at least calm down a little. Blue was still crying, but it wasn't the full-blown break down from earlier, and Grape was back to sitting on the couch next to him, though he was pointedly looking away from Blue, his arms crossed over his chest.
"Alright. Blue. Let me ask you," he began softly in what he hoped was a calming voice. "You said that you couldn't continue with the poly, but that you still care about us and didn't want to break up with both of us." He gave Blue enough time to reply, but the small skeleton couldn't do more than nod weakly. "Am I to understand that you have made your choice about which one of us you still want to see?"
He paid no mind to Grape who rolled his eyelights and shook his skull next to him. He didn't like having to ask this either, but it was necessary.
Blue blew his nose again before replying in a hushed voice.
"I DON'T KNOW."
Grape's reaction was immediate.
"what do you mean, you don't know!! you-!!!"
He was about to say more but Wine lifted his hand and glared at him, shutting him up on the spot.
"Go on, Blue," he gently prompted his small lover.
"WELL… LIKE I SAID, I DO CARE A LOT ABOUT BOTH OF YOU. AND I JUST DON'T THINK I CAN PICK ONE OVER THE OTHER."
"But you're still positive that you don't want to continue with the poly?"
Blue nodded, looking down at his lap, ashamed.
"So you basically want us to decide for you."
This time Blue didn't reply. He didn't say anything, didn't even move. Only a couple tears fell down his puffy cheeks.
It was Wine's turn to sigh deeply. He looked to his right and noticed that Grape was on the verge of tears. He wanted nothing more than to hug the fuck out of him, but he knew it wasn't the time for this yet. He had a decision to make about Blue.
"Well. To be honest with you, I wasn't planning on breaking up with you today," he ended up saying, and he pinched the bridge of his nose as Grape stood up and made a beeline for the entrance.
Putting his coat on, Grape muttered, "fine, i get it, i'm outta here," before going out into the night. Most probably to his brother.
"WINE, I'M SORRY ABOUT THIS," Blue said dejectedly, drawing the taller skeleton's attention back to him.
Wine didn't have the heart to reply. He could tell that Blue was sincerely sad about the situation, and that he wasn't happy about his own feelings regarding the poly. Wine couldn't help himself from wondering why things had been so good for three years, and then suddenly Blue couldn't take it anymore, but in hindsight, maybe he chose not to see anything.
He knew that Blue always struggled to find gifts for him and Grape, for one because he wasn't as monetarily fortunate as Wine and Grape, but also because it could admittedly be hard to pick gifts of similar value, both in price and in thought. Grape could be satisfied with pretty much any piece of junk, but Wine tended to have refined tastes, so buying him something he'd like meant going the extra mile with Grape each time. Grape regularly teased Blue about going overboard with him, while Wine more often than not felt a little… neglected when it came to Blue's gifts. He had never told the small skeleton because he didn't want to sound like an ungrateful asshole, but after so many years together, it wasn't hard to imagine that Blue knew him well enough to be able to tell when he wasn't entirely satisfied with a gift.
He also understood what Blue meant when he said he felt trapped. The most obvious example of this was the fact that he was always the one sleeping in the middle. It seemed so trivial in comparison to everything else, but Wine remembered the few times he had to sleep in the middle, with no easy access out of the bed to go pee at night, nor the opportunity to press himself against the wall. Like the middle seat in a plane. No leg room, no window. Literally the worst.
So he understood where Blue was coming from. Truly, he did.
And yet…
Wine didn't say anything and simply stood up. He started walking to the stairs when Blue lifted his skull up and asked, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"
Wine turned around and held out his hand to Blue.
"Come with me."
They went up the stairs, to the bedroom. There, Wine gave Blue a long, heartfelt hug.
"WINE?"
"Let's pack your things," he said, his voice colder than he meant.
Blue started to cry again.
"W-WHAT? BUT… WINE? WHY? M-MY THINGS? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" He blabbered.
"You're going to your brother's tonight, and probably for as long as I'll need to have Grape get over you. So make sure to grab everything you need. It's best if you take literally everything even, but I'm not sure we have a big enough suitcase. I can drop by tomorrow to bring you the rest though."
He spoke matter-of-factly, not even bothering to look at Blue as he opened the closet and got the suitcase out that he began to fill with Blue's clothes. He could hear the small skeleton sob behind him, but he didn't turn around.
He prefered to think about what to do with Grape. Blue had made himself clear, he didn't want the poly relationship anymore, and as hard as it was for Wine to accept it, it was his right to end things. What Blue couldn't control however was the relationship between Wine and Grape, and Wine was determined not to let that one go to waste. He knew Grape had misinterpreted his earlier words, when he said he didn't want to break up with Blue. He was honest: he did not want to break up with Blue, but that didn't mean that it wasn't going to happen regardless.
Wine couldn't fathom trying to stay with Grape while also being Blue's only partner, not with Blue's needs to come back to a monogamous relationship. That would break Grape's heart, because Grape truly loved Blue with everything he had, just like he loved Wine from the bottom of his SOUL. And Wine loved him back. So damn much. The mere thought of leaving Grape at home while he's go on a date with Blue was revolting.
So if things were over between Blue and Grape, then they had to end between Blue and Wine as well. Wine just hoped that he wouldn't lose Grape on the way as well. They would have a hard time finding a new balance, that was for sure. Wine would not give up.
Blue was unhelpful while Wine finished to pack his things. Wine made sure to ask the other if everything he needed was in the suitcase, but the other couldn't stop crying, so Wine called it done and placed the suitcase in the trunk of his car.
"Come on, Blue, let's go," he said softly as he pulled Blue by the hand.
"WINE, I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THIS. PLEASE BELIEVE ME," Blue whispered wetly, his voice raw from all the crying.
"I believe you, Blue," Wine said gently as he hugged Blue again. It wasn't because things were over that he still didn't have feelings for the small skeleton. "I don't hate you. Take care."
Blue nodded weakly into Wine's chest, before he took his seat in the car without another word.
Wine left Blue and his suitcase on the porch of his brother's house, and that was it.
Rarepair New Year 2023 event, ch1: Grape/Sans (Swapfell Purple!Sans/Undertale!Sans), SFW.
"hmmm..." Sans hums as he weights the two bottles of wine in his hands.
So yeah, I’m participating in an event again, I’m very hyped up about it and so far I’m having a lot of fun writing for it! I’m going to try focusing on pairs that I’ve never written for and/or never seen any content for. Or at least very rarely. It’s going to feature a lot of Sanscest (you know me), but also some Papcest and possibly some fontcest, we’ll see.
Hey!! So, really wrapping my brain around Swapfell Purple, and here’s my Sans version, respectfully called Nutty or Gray!
Let me just say; You think Blue was a hyperactive bubble of soda? This dude blows him right out of the Hyperactivity and is an absolute Nutcase!!
He’s always smiling that eerie smile of his, and though I forgot the type of facefangs his brother has, I still highly love how he came out ♥
I got my own personal HC’s for him and his brother, who I called respectfully Slick or Cash, but I also think Ghost would fit him ;) But yeah, that’s soon to come!
I said I would invade at some point. Listing each prompt wouldn't fit in the box, so could I ask for number 12, 16, 37, 40, and 52 from WII for Doc? And Aurum, too. Not poly. Oh, but I don't mind if you want to include Viridis with Aurum's prompts; I know you like to put those two as part of a poly. Thank you!
Good to see you!
12 S/O is accident prone
Doc – At first he's startled every time you run into something or trip or knock something over. He scolds you over while checking you for injury, fussing over every scrape and bruise. But give it awhile and he doesn't really relax so much as find a more “effective” method. I hope you aren't magic adverse, because you'll experience his a lot. Stumble and you find gravity is much kinder, and purple tinted. Knock something over and it never hits the ground before righting itself. He hardly even thinks about anymore, it's a trained reaction at this point. He rarely even has to look up. You still get a lot of long suffering sighs and flat stares, but it's all good natured.
Aurum – This man is an ass. He will let you get used to a layout and then shift things by six inches, just to watch you bounce of it. Of course he always makes sure you aren't injured, and helps keep you from breaking anything important or meaningful. But just general tripping or stumbles. Breaking yet another hideous vase someone gave you? Hilarious. Vir tries to put things back after Aur moves them, but it's a constant battle, and you are unfortunately in the middle of it. Little known fact, Vir is a damn clever prankster, and knows how to make himself look completely innocent. Ask him to help with revenge and it'll be weeks before Aur is brave enough to screw with either of you again.
16 S/O is tall (so for this one, despite my “relative” heights, I figured I'd make you taller than Doc, and around the same height as Aur, just for funsies)
Doc – Despite accusations, Doc doesn't have a Napoleon Complex in the traditional sense. He's very confident and does not feel the need to lie or exaggerate. He does brag, and loudly, but is also more than capable of backing it up at a moments notice. You being taller than him isn't an issue at all. He pretty much ignores it most of the time. He uses magic to get things from high up, and if he wants to kiss you he demands you lean down. Or just tugs you to his level. Whichever. He has been known to climb on top of things when arguing with people taller than him, and you would be no exception. He will go get something to stand on if necessary. He wants to look you in the eye to make his point.
Aurum – Frequently tells you how nice it is to not have to lean down to kiss you. He really enjoys how imposing the two of you look together. He'll jokingly ask you for piggy-back rides, but if you agree he's absolutely delighted. He makes it kind of difficult though, because he won't stop laughing the entire time. He'll teasingly ask you to get things from the top shelf for him. He buys you heels. If you tell him you don't walk in stilettos, he'll get you platforms instead. He tries to find ways to make you even taller, telling you he wants to be the short one. Like most things, he doesn't take it seriously at all, and has just has fun.
37 S/O gives comfort post nightmare
Doc – If you're close enough to be there to comfort him after a nightmare, then you're close enough for him to confide in. It takes a long time for him to trust you at that level, but when he does, it's absolute. Surprisingly he rarely wakes violently. His nightmares tend to center around loss rather than straight violence. It's rare to ever see him cry, but this is one of those times. He's a quiet crier, and tends to just stare at nothing. Eventually he'll start to talk, telling you not details so much, as just his general fears. His fear of losing you, of losing his brother (again), that he's afraid this “peace” they've found is temporary. Assure him you aren't going anywhere. That even if the world falls apart, you'll still be there. Flint will quietly appear at some point to do the same. It's rare to see Doc's brother so serious, but he sits in quiet solidarity. The two of you have very different relationships with Doc, but you both undeniably love him. Making sure he knows this, and that this won't change, is what matters most right now.
Aurum – Aurum's nightmares tend to go pretty unnoticed most of the time. He certainly has them, but he's gotten very good at hiding it. Now an then however, they can get a bit beyond his control, and he tends to lash out. Magically, physically, he's faced a lot of shit, and his fight instinct is strong. Especially if you happen to be featured in some way. One of his deepest fears is losing his loved ones to something he can't fight. And you fall into that category. Unfortunately there's a chance you'll get caught up in the crossfire. This will absolutely destroy him. Hurting you is something he never wanted to do. He'll try to run, don't let him. It'll take awhile, and some strong words, but make it clear you still love him, and that this changes nothing. He wasn't in control of himself, and just reacted. He didn't mean to hurt you, and that's what matters. He needs reassurance, but even with it he'll beat himself up for awhile. He doesn't want you to fear him. Smack him upside the head, hand him a tea, and tell him to get over it. Acting natural will go along way to reassure him everything is fine between you.
40 S/O overworks to the point of fainting
Doc – Buddy, pal, friend. What are you doing? If you know Doc at all, you know this is a terrible idea. Not only are you in for an earful, but so is everyone you work with. It will only happen once. He won't really understand your limits, or human limits really, all that well at first. Physical bodies are so limiting! But once you collapse, that's not something he'll ever forget, and he'll be making sure it never happens again. If that means hovering and micro managing for a week to make sure you get the message, than so be it. He says it's because you negatively affected productivity, but really he just worries. Humans are so fragile! It's nerve-wracking!
Aurum – Hey now, that's Aur's job! He's peeved with you, but he gets it. He does it fairly often himself. Less over-working, and more continuing to work and forgetting to sleep, but similar enough. He will force both of you to take a few days to rest. He tries to work out some semblance of accountability for in the future, check ins and what not, but ends up just getting Vir to make sure everyone eats and sleeps with some regularity. Which works not at all, seeing as Vir tends to start reading and forget time exists. Ultimately it's something that will probably keep happening, but every time he makes sure you both take a few days completely off to get properly rested again.

Doc – Despite being a control freak, Doc doesn't normally go through your things. Those are your private things, and as long as it's nothing that could harm you or the family, he doesn't care. You're allowed privacy. So if he finds some of your work it's probably at least mostly accidental. Likely he was looking for some paperwork or a project he asked you to work on and happened to find something. Unfortunately now that he's found it, the privacy idea is over. Especially if it's something about or of him. He's quite flattered, and will tell you so. Also, it's his now. Unless you insist it's incomplete, he will keep it. And if you do get it back to “finish it”, he'll insist he gets it back again. He wants to show it off.
Aurum – Aur doesn't believe in other people's privacy. He's curious, nosey, and has next to no sense of “boundaries”, Give him enough shit, or pull the hurt/disappointed card and he'll learn. But until then, he absolutely goes through your things whenever the whim hits him. So obviously he's going to find your work. He won't take any of it, and puts it all back exactly how he found. That doesn't mean he's leaving it alone however. He will make constant subtle references to it, never outright saying he saw, but implying it heavily until you confront him about it. Then he uses that as an excuse to try to get you to show it off. I mean, you made something for/of/about him, he should get to see it right? If you are so inclined, feel free to throw something at him. He knows he deserves it.
These took so long I'm sorry! Lemme know if you want more, I'm happy to provide!
