Watching Edgar lose Poe and still have to pretend he’s fine even though all growing up he was shown and taught that the only special thing about him is his curse is a special little rock at the bottom of my heart. Imagine being 11 years old and losing the only thing that (you were taught) makes you special and worthwhile. All he can do is put on a fake smile and tell his friends he’s fine while screaming into a hole and clutching Egg like his life depends on it.
