To the Anon who just sent theirs in, we wanted to let you know we are most certainly still taking unpopular opinions from the fans & yours has been put in line to be published in the future. We just didn't want you thinking we weren't accepting them any more by not responding to you. But just so everyone knows we are still accepting unpopular opinions to be published anonymously. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, the SFUOs are pretty popular and we are currently running about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks behind.

And so it begins

Hey everyone!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Evan Lothian. I am a French Studies student in the Faculty of Arts who loves hockey, travel, and detests communism. More importantly (for this blog) I am a Director on the SFUO's Board of Administration.

What can you expect from this blog? Information. The biggest problem with our Federation (Student Union for those who maybe aren't up to snuff on their solidarity lingo) in my opinion, is the lack of information given to students. Why are things the way they are? Why is the Executive Committee of the SFUO paid $32,000 per year? What are your student dollars being spent on?

All of those questions and many, many more will be answered. Feel free to email me at [email protected] and join us at the first Board of Administration meeting taking place on July 13th @ 1pm, location TBA.
