I assumed the time skip + maybe sympathy for accidentally getting credit for killing his dad probably both played a part. It's easy to imagine she was upset for a bit but calmed down in the two months since.

That’s what I’m thinking. The more I sleep on it the more it makes sense. It’s like

Dr. Mrs. knows how important his parents were to the Monarch. Anything he might have forgotten in the accident is always important to him. 

This is pretty standard behavior for the Monarch. It connects back to Rusty and it’s ruthless. It’s just his ruthlessness was directed towards villains this time

It brings them back to the initial problem before the Morpho stuff started which is the Monarch has to find a way to cope with being unable to arch Rusty, so in some ways this was him coping with being unable to arch Rusty anyway. 

I feel like since it’s kind of on par for Monarch behavior and he’s not going to go about doing it again, that kind of helped make the fact they’re trucking on make sense.

I've noticed an influx of spam messages ("hi im new here how are u?") on different blogs lately from bots with just a girl's pic and generic feminine name and like 2 random posts, so hopefully it's something like that and just not showing in your messages for some reason vs being something important.

Yeah I know. I’ve gotten those before. It’s not the missing a message that bothers me, it’s the inability to make the 1 go away. 

I thought if it wasn’t spam then someone could just try resending it and then maybe it’d appear and then I wouldn’t have to look at the 1 anymore. It’s very distracting

I am half tempted to unblock a bunch of users and see if someone pops up in case you can send Tumblr messages to people who have you blocked

Once my bedroom blinds moved like a gust of wind briefly blew through them except the window was closed and I slept on my couch that night so I feel this. :'3

My best guess is dying bug because now my floor vent is making a similar noise at a similar interval. Which I can live with

;-; Yeah but. The fact that YOU'RE good about it doesn't change that there are a lot of people who need the prompting.

I’ve felt for years the overly in your face hyper-pressurized method of turning out the vote is one of the reasons why voter turn out is so low. It’s one thing to remind me, it’s another to overdo it. Also I think they my way or the highway means of pushing candidates is also part of the problem. If you guilt trip or push people too much, many people just don’t do the thing in the end

If you look at % of eligible voters who turn out (x), more recent elections have lower percentages than past elections. Of course there are other factors like access to polling places and the fact most people work on election day, but you’d think that those two factors wouldn’t be the only culprits lurking especially with weeks of early voting and mail in options. 

TBH, overselling the vote is a good strategy for those in power because it’s more likely to turn off younger voters and voters in categories the government would rather not vote like people who might have mental issues that cause them to instinctively balk at overly pressurized things (like me who might have a seizure on election day tis year because it’s too stressful). Then places like Tumblr double the pressure because they get so overzealous about voting and who to vote for sometimes they imply that yous should die or will die if you don’t vote the way the way they think you should. 

It’s why the BS that Tumblr and Facebook pull every voting cycle makes me angry. It’s deliberate and disgusting.

Out of curiosity, does RP count as "content" when suggesting new ship names, or only art and fics? Also, is there a minimum number of works or creators-of-works you need to consider a ship worthy of adding?

I personally would say no to RP counting as content but idk how the other mods feel about it (meaning y’all are welcome to chime in). And one is the minimum number to add a name.
