Lessons from Buffy 04x06:
If you tend to overthink stuff and dwell on emotional wounds and you recently got your heart broken by what you didn’t know was a one-night-stand, just bash him over the head with a wooden beam while in an altered state of mind, all your emotional problems will vanish on the spot
Willow and Oz’ uwu-kawaii-cute relationship had after all the time they were together still not evolved to a point where they could openly discuss problems like “I think you’re looking at another girl” and “I met another werewolf”.
Also - and ugh this is another “I’m not tagging this” post - I feel terrible about it but I don’t really like Willow anymore either. She has done nothing wrong, it’s not a moral thing like with Joyce and Xander, but I just find her “cute little girl” behaviour so irritating. The older she’s supposed to be, the worse it gets.
By the end of this rewatch Giles will be the only thing about the show I still appreciate, I see it coming! Although strangely enough Buffy herself doesn’t annoy me anymore like she used to, maybe because she always reminded me of someone I used to be friends with and whom I ended up... disliking rather strongly (and who used to have a crush on Spike lol) and now I haven’t seen my ex-friend in a decade so it’s not that bad anymore.
It’s strange how I see everything in this show with different eyes than when I last watched it...
