Sooooo my take at a Sophie design, kinda? I'm super nervous to post this bc I don't usually draw humans but my idea of her strays a bit from canon (bc. fuck canon lmao) anyway! Some design notes:

Y'all, Sophie is short. I don't mean like, "shorter than the average person" short, she's a fucking gREmliN and she will put a curse on you if you make fun of her bc of it (her friends absolutely make fun of her bc of it)

Her hair on the other hand, is stupidly long, like already at her knees long, and it can either be wavy but fairly straightened out or a fluffy mess of curls like you see in the drawing

Also, and that might be my most controversial design choice, she's on the chubby side. Don't ask me why just. fuck everything surrounding beauty culture she is a small chubby angry witch and she will give you shit for it if you do as much as look at her wrong.

I think that's basically it but I feel the need to add, when I think of Sophie I just actually think Glinda from Wicked so that's my main inspiration for her design (if you're familiar with the musical, I also hc her voice to be just like That bc. Kristin Chenoweth. that's it)

And there ya have it! I also designed Nicola already (bc gfs) and I intend to design some other characters soon enough (I'm also writing a fic as I might have mentioned on some other post, but that's going rlly fucking slow lmao) anyway sorry for rambling! Reblogs are appreciated and yadda yadda

Also kind of fun fact on the design??? She has olive-green eyes because when I first read TLEA back in... uh 2016 ig I read olive-brown locks as olive eyes. HOW THE FUCK I MANAGED TO MIX THAT UP????? IDK I'M JUST AN IDIOT

Sooo I just kept picturing her with olive-green yes lmao

Also the leaves there are oak leaves, which symbolize strenght! I wanted to pick a plant related to motherhood at first but oak leaves looked nicer for this imo
