they call me the devious headcannoner
Sometimes it’s just you and the character hated by the whole fandom against the world
What is wrong with the Mistral family-- first off, two sets of twins fight and kill one of them. Then these "sisters" I'm not sure are even telling the truth suddenly appear. Then Sophie dates the father, and kisses father and both sons. Yeah, Sophie would have been those sons' stepmother at one point. Oh, and the son who thinks "Rafal" is his father is wrong-- Rafal was actually dead centuries ago! Rafal is his uncle! And Sophie thought she was marrying Rafal one day? Nope, Rafal’s would actually have been her brother in law! It's crazy. That family is crazy.
finishing Fall completely changes how you see the rest of the series!!! This family is insane!!!! I think one of the greatest mysteries is their parents. Like, who are they? Are they Good or Evil or a mix of both?? Sophie was so so so involved in this family’s chaos and she didn’t even realize it until book 5/6 when they find out “Rafal” (Rhian) was Rhian #2 and Japeth’s dad. I doubt even Evelyn knew that Rhian was her kids’ father. And what about Agatha? She would have been an aunt if Rafal (Rhian #1) and Sophie had married. Tedros would have been an uncle … or maybe not, since if it got that far Agatha and Tedros would have been dead :/
Side note: I personally think that Rhian wouldn’t actually like kids that much, but Rafal would be the kid of uncle to sneak his nephews treats under the table at dinner. Rhian was an absent father — partly bc of Evelyn — but part of me thinks Rafal wouldn’t be. Most of his motivation to do basically everything in the prequels was his love for his brother. Why shouldn’t he love his nephews too? I wish we’d gotten to see interactions between Uncle Rafal and Rhian #2 and Japeth. But, alas, we did not.
this family is definitely a huge mess
unlikely survivor + unlikely ally = cool sword who is also ur cousin
i miss chad and i think he should get to live so in My au he does <3 takes a running leap off a pirate ship and spends the rest of qfg running around in the woods godspeed o7
tumblr gets to see it last bc i forgot
ok so i had a train of thought
so i was thinking wizards all have wizard wishes, but the lady of the lake has one too?? according to the Internet, a witch is basically a female who has magic, which would apply to the lady of the lake (unless the endless woods change literal definitions of words, which i doubt). so that got me thinking... would that mean sophie has one too? and would she also have the other perks of being a wizard, i.e a celestium? japeth could only get into merlin’s celestium because he had wizard blood. and he was essentially a wizard. i mean he had literal magic eels how is he not a wizard. so this shows in sge being a wizard or at least magic in general is passed down through blood. so if sophie is a witch, wouldn’t her bloodline be as well?? what if vanessa was a witch and did not know about her powers yet. no idea how she evaded the school master but ANYWAYS is magic is passed on through blood and sophie’s bloodline is magic, it would have been shared throughout the generations. (TLEA SPOILERS) technically, agatha and sophie are sisters, so that means they are blood related. so that means maybe agatha has witch blood too? idk but i kind of want to at LEAST explore the idea of sophie having a celestium, maybe even agatha having one too.
this could explain why she excelled at magic at school. also witch agatha has so much potential so do what you will with this information. feel free to prove me wrong btw, as it probably is, one thought led to another and that led to a badly worded tumblr post so!!!! enjoy.
Since I did this with Red Queen, so now it's SGE's turn.
If the School for Good and Evil characters had dogs!!!
Tedros: You know as well as I do this guy owns a golden retriever. It looks close enough like a lion and is so sweet, especially with him. Best. Cuddles. Ever.
Agatha: she didn't want a dog, at first, but caved when she saw a pitbull no one else wanted. They having matchung reputations and people jump out of their skin when they see Agatha walking this thing.
Sophie: Poodle. What? It's beautiful and smart just like her😁 And because she can trained it to be her guard dog, just in case. It is an excellent judge of character
Hort: After a lot of thinking, overthinking, and over-overthinking, he got himself a wolf hound. Not an irish wolfhound, just a wolf hound. He loves having a friend just like him!! And it makes him feel less lonely.
Hester: Doberman. It looks like her demon and she loves it so much.
Anadil: Chihuahua because it's as small as her two remaining rats and it's 50 pounds of anger in a 5 pound bag, which reminds her of Hester.
Dot: I imagine Dot would either own a corgi or a pug. The corgi because it's cute and fluffy, but the pug because it had such a squishy little face!!!
Beatrix: King Charles Spaniel. What? It's beautiful, just like her
Rhian: A weimaraner. It looks like royalty and is a fantastic audience. He's pretty good at fetch, too.
Japeth: Rottweiler. It keeps him sleeping at night and keeps people afraid to cross him.
Aric: NO DOGS! TOO EVIL FOR A DOG! HE CAN JUST HAVE A BULL FOR THE NIGHT!!(they care more about movement than the color red)
Japeth: There's only one thing worse than dying
(Rips off paper to reveal Aric written over dying)
Japeth: Boom
Rhian: Aric
Japeth: No
