On August 29th, 2015, I started the Shishori Legacy with Elektra Shishori. And while this post is a day early, happy four-year anniversary! Thank you all for staying with me all these years, and I really do appreciate all of the support that I’ve received every step of the day. I still haven’t decided how far to take this legacy (as I had originally planned to have finished it by now), but I’ll keep you guys posted about life post-Generation Ten.

Speaking of which, it’s time for this generation’s heir poll! As per usual, each of the available heirs are pictured above as young adults, though their looks are never final. This is just to give you a glimpse as to what they might look like going into the next generation!

What Will Generation Ten Look Like?

If Jaime wins the heir poll, we will follow his story as he accepts a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn marine biology first-hand at the Sulani Islands Sanctuary under the Hoapili Scholarship. Determined to study the waves he had grown so fond of, Jaime will discover that there’s more to the ocean than its gentle waves and friendly dolphins. He’ll walk along the shores of Sulani with his trusty camera in hand, not once noticing the curious pair of eyes peeking at him from underneath a cluster of seaweed in the distance.

If Eduardo wins the heir poll, we will follow his story as he receives a strange postcard from his Strangerville pen-pal. Worried about his friend, Eduardo will ignore his sinking gut and head out to Strangerville. And while the smiles are unsettling and he is definitely not eating the zucchini casserole (thank you, Mrs. Roswell, he’s sure that it would’ve been lovely), the number one concern on his mind is: where in the world did his pen-pal disappear off to?

If Milagro wins the heir poll, we will follow her story as she feels something thrumming in her veins. Puzzled by the faint sense of longing, Milagro consults her father, Daevan, about why he always seemed to be traveling while she was growing up, why he always seemed so distant even if he was sitting right next to her at dinner in Brindleton Bay. Daevan will reveal that they share Traveler blood, that they were never meant for this mortal world--or at least, that’s what he thought until he met Roy. Torn between sharing Daevan’s secret heritage to the rest of her family or keeping it to herself, Milagro will flee to the secret town of Glimmerbrook where she’ll find that everything and nothing makes sense at the same time. And is that... someone coming towards her on a broomstick?!

the house was starting to feel a little empty, so freya adopted two kittens! please welcome rudy (left) and wumble (right) to the strange family!

at this point, something catastrophic happened.

doodle BROKE. she was missing, with no alert of her running away or any option to send out an alert about a missing pet. i tried so hard to get her back but she was lost to the void. i ended up just nervously moving the family, sans raccoon, to a fresh new save.
