Alec tells Izzy about Asmodeus' deal and she marches into Edom to kick the demon's ass.

Izzy tells Magnus about Alec's deal.

She knows that they belong together and this deal is bullshit.

Sooooo, Alec breaks up with him.

He gets his magic back.

Asmodeus shows up.

AND MAGNUS DOESN'T SEE ALL OF THIS AS A BIT COINCIDENTAL? 😒😒

Magnus' heart is in tiny bits. And so is Alec's. 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😖

So Alec thought as long as Magnus knew he was loved he'd eventually get used to not having his magic. Hence the proposal.

Now he knows that without his magic, Magnus is lost. That's what pushes Alec to 'meet' with Asmodeus.

Will he give up his love in order for his love to be himself?

I truly don't see Magnus liking this at all, when he eventually finds out.
