I think the "best" part of this episode is everyone's reaction to the Malec break-up.

Well, Asmodeus gives Magnus back his magic hours(?) after Alec breaks up with him and doesn't ask for anything in return, AND Magnus doesn't connect the two?
Malec share braincells and when they are at odds, they are braindead.
Magnus is walking thru Brooklyn, thinking about Alec, so why isn't it clicking?

I hate seeing Magnus like this. Only wanna think of the good stuff in the episode.
This episode, Alec has been on mission. But I want to see him, next episode, trying to deal with not having Magnus in his life.
He tossed Jace out his office before he broke down, but you know he's barely holding it together.
Magnus you have YOUR magic back but lost Alec, think goddamn it.
Sooooo, Alec breaks up with him.
He gets his magic back.
Asmodeus shows up.
