i just went through my tagged/shadowhunters-spoilers from when i used to liveblog and holy shit 10/10 would recommend i feel so excited about shadowhunters and season 2 and i really want to be more active now and just shitpost about this show like i used to and askjdhkjh filming starts this month and im just happy okay

Okay i swear i was gonna do this yesterday but i hit post limit on my sideblog but i did discuss it with @ibrokeprestonsnose so some of these are hers but she’s amazing 

Okay but the drive up to the campsite is so fun, like theyre all squeezed into simons van and of course clary got shotgun and the lightwoods are all sitting together in the back and complaining about simon’s crappy music on the radio 

But they are actually enjoying themselves and laughing and joking and Jace, Alec and Izzy are actually really excited bc theyve never drove anywhere outside nyc like they alway portal everywhere

When they get there the shadowhunters are complete noobs at the camping game bc theyre from nyc and like hello they were busy training all their lives. but clary and simon are complete experts bc they used to go with luke all the time 

and theyre like cooking up a bbq and setting up the tent meanwhile the lightwoods are swatting bugs and complaining

and like clary and simon finish making their tent and everyone tries to get in but theyre like “woah hold on me and simon assembled this on our own you dont get to reap the rewards of our awesomeness”

so they make them assemble their own and its literally just the three “badass warrior soldiers” bickering over how to go about tent assembly

jace ends up getting too eager and looses half the bolts for the tent in the pond and it ends up with him soaking wet after having fought a duck to get them back and loses the instuctions while he’s at it 

eventually they manage to get the tent up but it is done so shitty that it falls apart half way as soon as they get inside 

alec and Jace end up yelling a lot and isabelle gets mad at them and storms off but then clary and simon invite her into their tent

And so the three of them are just sitting in simon and clarys tent, eating popcorn and laughing at the two boys bc for some reason seeing two large men who literally kill demons for a living trying and failing at putting a tent together 

and then clary’s all like “we can’t just go into the woods with 2 and a half campers” to alec and he’s lowkey salty about it for the rest of the night

Alec storms off and calls Magnus who almost immediately portals in and Alec is v surprised but suddenly much happier bc he really only called for emotional support and didnt think Magnus was the camping type

and magnus just magics in this MAHOOOSIVE tent that is basically like that tent in goblet of fire that has like different rooms and furniture and stuff

but then he’s all like “eh no this is for Alec and I, get out” but he lets them in anyway and its just like a crazy rave

the definition of rave being all of them drunkenly playing a shadow world version of cards against humanity or something

magnus of course makes super strong cocktails and everyone gets super drunk and magnus is just like yall are weak

So the next day they don’t get to do any of their plans bc they’re all hungover af
