Numerous flat stones are arranged on the Suhama shore, which extends into the pond. At the end of this shore stands a lantern, symbolising a lighthouse on a cape. This design element is intended to evoke the image of the sea. Additionally, a stone bridge connecting to the islet symbolises Amanohashidate, celebrated as one of Japan's top three scenic views.
