(Writeblr) Introduction:
Definition: An "intro-duction" is a single-eyed movement made at the start of a conversation. (See root word "duction").
Bio:
Multi-cellular Carbon Based lifeform from planet Earth, subsection Australia. Every 2^256 seconds my SHA-256 hash collides with that of a local neighbourhood cat. Hijinks ensue. I'm interested in: * Mathematics * Writing * Eusocial Bees * 日本(語) Mathematics is at the root of how we understand the word, and I think it's an awful shame that it's underutilized in fiction. The development of modern day mathematics is deeply rooted in the physical reality of the world in which we live, and what little we understand of that world is deeply routed in the mathematics which we're able to comprehend. While every character in a book might not be a mathematician, maths is going to be happening around them, and that'll find a way of trickling its way into their lives. I want my writing to reflect this.
Current Work(s):
Sierpentine (Currently one very small chapter): https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/87085/sierpentine Alex dedicated her life to her work as an emergency nurse, bringing people back from the very brink of death. In her twilight years, long after the death of her husband, she embarks on a state sponsored suicide mission to halt the spread of a deadly disease. After her death, she's whisked away to a land of winged angels and relative peace. Still, however, absent her husband; and present the ever encroaching threat of death. What possible meaning can Alex garner from her life spent keeping people further away from paradise? Is there a life after death after death? And how do you plan beyond the limits of knowledge?
A book which I can't name without doxing myself :)
