I’ve tried to reblog a lot of spectacular art recently and I realized that this blog has been blocked by a lot of other blogs, and I think I know why... There’s so much great Sonelise art and other Sonic content out there, but because I love Shadaria, it feels like it’s cursed me. I genuinely want to ask... is Shadaria really considered that obscene or taboo? To me, it’s one of the cutest and sweetest ships in the fandom.

And please, I’m asking politely: don’t use the “because they’re siblings” argument. I’m exhausted to death by that take. There’s a lot of nuance in Shadow and Maria’s relationship that's open to interpretation. What I see between them doesn’t fit the sibling dynamic at all.

I just wish people wouldn’t judge my whole blog based on one ship. I’m not hurting anyone—I’m actually really shy and friendly. I’m here because I love Sonic, I love the fandom, I love other ships, and I just want to enjoy the things that make me happy.

Anyway, that’s all I wanted to say. I just wish folks wouldn’t block me over a ship I genuinely find adorable.
