Actually on the topic of Wexler, I've read some of his more recent work and enjoyed it. I tried to get into Shadow Campaigns but I really ran out of steam like 400 pages into the first book. It feels like a series that could go really interesting places down the road but uhh does anyone know where it starts to get good? Is it worth it to finish book one or should I skip to another one...?

Loving the Shadow Campaigns series so far, I'm an easily distracted reader but I blazed through The Thousand Names and The Shadow Throne in about 2 weeks.
I unironically love it when you can see a twist coming a mile away so you're just waiting on the shoe to drop (when is she gonna backstab him? when is the cavalry gonna show up?). It's just such a fun series so far.
Also dying at Marcus being as thick as he is with regards to Winter, I do really hope this joke keeps going through the rest of the series.
