Shadow Crusade
The Shadow Crusade was a campaign of the Horus Heresy. Making up the second theater of the Eastern Fringe campaign of the Heresy alongside the Calth Front, it was a campaign by the Word Bearers and World Eaters against the 500 worlds of Ultramar.

What is the most favorite movie that you have watched?
Else I'm a very simple person with not much concentration for whole movies. But I would say Clerks, Twister and The Mummy (because the Imhotep-guy is my Erebus!).
I should do more movie posters for Warhammer-stuff.
People don't talk enough about how the Shadow Crusade is a bromance/roadmovie; two brothers learning to work together, power of friendship, getting stepped on by Titans (and getting shot by Titan-plasma-cannon .. twice! .. to shield your buried brother), beautiful happy end, drama and such.
(Not to mention that neat little episode when Angron storms off to hunt Dark Eldar, right after nearly provoking Lorgar to blast the Conqueror out of the sky. And then Lorgar tags along, rolling his eyes the whole time, but in the end they both kill Eldar together and it's just such a wholesome brothers-moment)
This may be too soon for all the Argel Tal-fans out there, but I had too much fun with horrible goose-Erebus to not post him.
Not only "in the shadow of wings", boy. This time, death also has wings.
I'm a horrible goose.
Ultramar Burns!
After the opening of the Great Betrayal, Angron and the World Eaters were invited by the Primarch Lorgar to accompany him and a force of his Word Bearers on a campaign into the Ultramar sector; the Shadow Crusade. A force of around 70,000 World Eaters assembled around their Primarch and joined a smaller force of Word Bearers. While Lorgar had a specific first target in mind - Armatura - the World Eaters insisted on attacking other worlds of Ultramar upon the way, killing all who stood against them and rampaging across the 500 worlds of Ultramar. Initially the two legions were on tense terms, as Angron delayed the advance by insisting on the butchering of entire worlds of little strategic value. The main thrust of the Shadow Crusade tore through over many Ultramaran worlds, laying them to waste before falling upon the War World of Armatura.
