I've thought a lot since my Essek and Caduceus similarlity post and I'm now a Shadowclay truther. Iike, I've just realized how great of a couple they would?
Two young beings who try to act older than they are? Who felt like they were alone for a majority of their life? One giving everything to his goddess, while the other gives his deity away?
Caduceus always giving and helping people, always trying to fix things. Essek wanting to do everything himself and being selfish, wanting to ignore every mistake he's made?
Like imagine Essek getting away from the dynasty and heading to the woods with Cad? Essek looking around amazed at all the plants and flowers? He's always been working, never living. Cad teaching him how to bake and get better? Both of them adjusting to the clay family?
It's the cottagecore and dark academia of it all. The opposites attracting, the learning and growing from each other.
Essek making Caduceus know that he is worth more than he thinks, that he should be selfish sometimes. Cad helping Essek with forgiving himself and helping people.
The two of them would just like, fit each other so well.
