Tw for mentioning of grooming
There is this show, Shadowhunters, that I want to watch cuz I find Harry Shum Jr. who plays in it extremely attractive as Magnus Bane. The problem is that his character (Male, 500+ years) grooms another character (Male, 17) and I feel like an asshole for finding Magnus Bane hot. (Context: I am also male and 17)
Any tips, please?
Well, this isn't really my area of expertise but there's not really any reason to feel like an asshole. It's not as if you're going around saying it's okay he groomed someone because he's hot but also, he's a fictional character and you're talking about the actor playing him.
I'd recommend just watching it if you want to and telling your brain to shut up. But if it makes you feel too bad, just move on to something else. It doesn't have to be a big thing one way or another.
Sorry this isn't more helpful but I don't really know what else to advise, tbh. Someone else might have a better suggestion, though?
